I've noticed a trend with PS3 exclusives. Great graphics, good single player, terrible online. Thus the games end up having hardly any replay value which leads to threads like "Remember Killzone 2?"

All that's left to boast about is the graphics, but really...After everyone on my friends list beat Uncharted 2, nobody plays it anymore, including myself. I might make another pass through crushing difficulty, but besides that, there's nothing to come back for, just like Killzone 2.

Technically, those are from other generations ported to the Wii.

If I were to argue which platform won this generation PS3 wouldn't be at the top of the list. People forget, the PS3 has been at 3rd place for the majority of this generation and has only recently started being taken seriously because of Sony's efforts to push it forward at any cost. They have install base to catch up on and have yet to make an actual profit.

PS3 has to maintain its current activity for a fair while before it can be considered for anything.

To me, the games have to be good. A console could have a library of 10,000 games, but if they are all junk, it is not worth counting.

Likewise, if a console had a library of only five games, but they were all amazing, that would easily beat the console with the 10,000 bad games.

Basically, for me, the console has to have games that I love and care about. That's all it really comes down to.

It doesn't affect the how much you currently enjoy their games. It could have a huge affect on how they make future games though...
