Did the MGS4 demonstration change anyone's mind about PS3?

not by any means. i still think its an over priced pos :(

however the game looks amazing. i was very impressed and i love metal gear more now haha. i hope they make it multiplat so i dont have to buy ps3 to enjoy this masterpiece (either that or lower ps3 price significantly)

If you didn't like MGS before, you won't like it now. It's the same core game with some damn fine tricks up its sleeve.

I think it's a great addition to a legendary series :D. Dunno if I want that PS3 or not though. Heavenly Sword and MGS 4 FTW!!!!

The Battle scene with the PMC's and the Militia made my mouth drop to the floor, it was breathtaking, the sound effects of guns firing in the distance, the explosions, the smoke effects, the sounds of soldiers screaming,and basically the whole atmosphere of it all, it was like a real War Zone, totally loved it.

What it proved was it wasnt CGI that kojima has been showing us as most lemmings said it was. Kojima isnt a genius for nuttin, he is the master mind behind the mgs franchise and I already know MGS4 will be GOTY 2008. Lucky he didnt show this demonstration at e3 or it wouldve been the best game of e3.

this demo only proved what i was saying the whole time. instead of making the game for the masses it was made for japan thinking Asians only. i really find it beyond the realm of how Japanese developers and game designers think, it comes down to an inverted society who has no identity but, wants to impose it on us thru horrible gaming. its like they go beyond gaming or dont care what the masses wants, they just want to be revered whether it fails or succeeded just to say they where different then the boring society that they live in. it a complete reflection in this game. does'nt anyone notice that this is not where most of American gamers are going. we want multi-player. we dont want someones ego shoved down our throats. this game is a joke. i don't know how many years in development it took, but, its style has already been surpassed bye a mile.

i really think gaming has passed the Japanese developers bye., they wanna waste our time with boring fantasy story lines. this game is outta touch with what is going on today. as far as i can see it, psn is horrible, so, if its not multiplayer with a dedicated server good luck, because its region less, that means you 'll be stuck playing mostly Japanese or french. i really think its over for ps3 in the us. i dont care if they dropped the price down to 200 dollars. the systems blows and so do the game..

Dawg, if that was tha case, you wouldn't see Xbox owners wantin' the MGS4 game, you wouldn't see the Wii blowin' the s**t outta everybody's sales, you wouldn't see the PS3 selling in "America". Not to rain on anyones parade, but MGS simply isn't the series its acclaimed to be. Its unapproachable to gamers coming into later installments, and is overly plot driven: moreso than most RPG's.

Its not a "bad" thing, I just don't see how a game which carries most of the merits of a movie is the best thing since sliced bread.

I won't attack anyone you might be right...You might be wrong everyone has an opinion but MGS is worldwide famous videogame series that millions maybe even billions love, obviously there's people that hate it but it has more fans than anything...

It was a weak link to you, but to me and a 90% of the people on the MGS boards on here, IGN, and TUS, it has one of the greatest stories ever made if you can comprehend it.
