Anyways I think all the next-gen consoles still have some more tricks up their sleeves in terms of graphics.... At least im hoping.

I think Lair is the best PS3 can do. Whats your thought? And COWS are sayin Xbox 360 wont be able to run Lair
Mehedi02
plz tell me your kidding  have you seen mgs4?
[QUOTE="lightningbugx"]I can see the X360 able to handle it, just remove all the unnecessary processing like graphics that are out of view and reduced detail for distant objects because you can't see that detail.

If you'd have to remove all the detail and draw distance to make it work, than the 360 can't run it. That's like saying: "Oh the Wii could handle it, you'd just have to remove all the dragons and fire and stuff."
That is not what I said. I am not removing all the detail. The detail quality is reduced as the object fades into the distance. Everything up close will still have the high quality details as you can see that detail. That guy over 5 miles in the distance ahead is not drawn because he is too small to be visible at that range. The guy about 1 mile away has only 5 to 20 polygons drawn because that is all the detail you can see of him. When he gets closer, the quality effort is increased. That car completely behind the building is not drawn because it is not visible. All of these objects still act although.
It is like playing World of Warcraft. The server controls the physics, but does nothing with graphics. You PC only renders what your character can see.Â
[QUOTE="DSgamer64"][QUOTE="deadmeat59"]no it has not only wii can devs reatch its limits . however ps3 does has more power then even 360 . i know i am going to be bashed for saying it but its true . the cell is 3 times more powerful . blu ray holds 41gbs more data then 360s discs . 512 ram and faster ram then 360 256mb cpu 256 gpu .E_x_i_l_e
Blu Ray discs are still single layer n00b, they only store 25 GB's, dual layer is 50, Sony hasnt even released those onto market yet since single layer discs are just getting started.
Kojima is using the dual layer 50GB for MGS4, so QFT
thats actually false. GamePro.com interviewed Kojima and stated it was indeed a 25gig single layered disc. Like the user you quoted said, SONY hasnt even realised 50gig Dual Layered disc yet. Atleast not for gaming anywayPlease Log In to post.
