I really noticed the ghosting when I first started the game, but had gotten used to it after playing a while. I can see why Remedy did the upscaling.

Still, I'd rather have seen the game without it and wished that the PC version was built from the ground up.

So did the Xbone limit the power available for this game ... yeah, perhaps it did.

If that was the case no doubt it would have been superior to UC4 just due to the massive power of PC and the fact that QB is actually a ground up current gen game not held to the restraints of last generation hardware.

All ribbing aside, I am actually impressed with what they created in Quantum Break on xbone, but clearly they were trying to push for more than what the system could handle graphically and ended up making the game suffer for not maximizing what it could actually achieve unlike what ND did with UC4 for PS4 hardware.

No the X1 didn't limit anything cause Remedy knew the specs of the X1 before hand. It wasn't like MS surprised them with it before they decided to start making the game and QB is a very good looking game. Uncharted is definitely one of the best looking games this gen for sure but that doesn't diminish what Remedy did with QB. QB is a good looking game but Uncharted is just phenomenal.

It was supposed to be the game that would be challenging Uncharted 4 for graphics king on console. Now a month after its release it seems as if it is only a distant memory. It didn't even beat Tomb Raider on Xbox One. Now with the latest Digital Foundry video crowning Uncharted 4 as the emperor of console graphics, Quantum Break seem extremely underwhelming.

If it were released on the PS4, do you guys think it could have traded blows with Uncharted 4? Not in terms of gameplay mind you as it seems to be two or three notches below but purely in terms of being a visual showcase.

With the consoles being so close in power, it would have been an improvement graphically on the PS4, but barely noticeable.

True, I think the game's high quality assets will truly shine on PC, when it is finally running at good framerates and resolutions. (With time and patches and new hardware)

It's crazy how good the actors and NPCs look in Quantum Break, just a bit of a shame everything gets hard to see when you start moving around X_X

You should know, you live of the stuff. So I will take your confirmation that they were running on fanboy juice.

lol no need to get cheeky buddy, I come here the same as you for da system wars shits giggles and info leaks. Any one who frequents this board on a regular basis becomes a part of the system wars mini-society so everyone here "live off this stuff".

If not and you think yourself above others who come and engage in the system wars mud slinging contests (which you do quite often), why don't you remove yourself from posting here so you can show everyone you are above all this "stuff".

Otherwise don't try to come off as if your aren't just another average biased, mud slinging, trash talking system wars reject. However you aren't going to leave system wars and stop posting here because we all know (in your own words) "you live off this stuff".

So, you can't handle me being better than you.

It looks perfectly fine visually, but sure had it been a PC exclusive with a shit ton of money thrown at it, it could have been a technical marvel. The thing is you can say that about a lot of games. As far as them competing with Naughty Dog.

1. Naughty Dog has more man power
2. Naughty Dog is basically Sony's prize winner first party studio that probably gets a lot of creative freedom and some hefty budgets, Remedy is working with Microsoft
3. Naughty Dog is also absurdly good at the technical stuff.

@Wasdie: SSM probably will surpass UC4 with GoW.

It limit it so much that even on freaking PC every single resolution is reconstructed using the same cheap trick the xbox one use.

On PC is you are on 1080p you are not really on 1080p,is a reconstruction from 720p.

This ^^ doesn't happen on PC,even better looking games than Quantum Break don't resort to those kind of tricks,so yeah that bad the game was hold back by xbox one hardware.

Well at least Quantum Break had realtime GI unlike UC4 where Naughty Duds still resort to baked lighting.

The reconstruction can now be disabled on PC, it is ridiculously demanding on 1080p, I can't get acceptable frames on 1440p w/o dropping settings

You're a game designer? A game developer or made any games on the X1 or PC for that matter lol. How do you know anything about them being limited, did they ever come out and say they were limited?

Yep i think is the fact that this game is treated badly on PC,un optimized i am sure with good optimization this game would run on PC without problems at all,it is a console game at heart.

Because on PC you don't have to do shitty reconstruction or parlor trick to run a game which is make and develop primary for a console, this game should run fine even on a 7770,hell the game ask for a i5 which considerably stupid, this game is nothing but a cheap xbox one port on PC.
