Ok, I know I'm probably one of a dozen and a half or so fans of this series, but apparently that was enough to warrant a new entry. When the rumors started floating around (pun definitely intended) about this a few days ago, I thought for sure it would be a remaster of the first game. Very glad to see it's a sequel.

Also, place your bets on how many posts in we will go before Wenzen complains about the graphics.

I have the Wii version, but felt it desperately needed anti aliasing in the very least. To digress, you'd be surprised how good Wii graphics would have looked with some decent AA.

I feel like this series will get more and more popular the better the graphics get. The game is all about chilling. So the graphics matter imo. Imagine diving through a realistic looking ocean with ship wrecks and all that stuff.

We do not need a new F-Zero. We need this.

I remember the Wii game. Never played it. Will not play this either unless it's free with the online or something.

I love how calm and relaxing the trailer is, where in reality I would be too busy going "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!".

Looks cool. I haven't ever played any games from that series. Up to 30 players seems excessive. I would never join a server with that many people. Too crowded.

Never played the other games but I do think that they look very cool. I’ve always had a thing for underwater exploration and this looks like something that would definitely scratch that itch. Also looks like a very chill and relaxing experience. Wouldn’t mind getting this at all.

Yeah a nice surprise. The first 2 on the wii are a guilty pleasure of mine. A random dungeon version of the idea sounds interesting. I just hope there is also enough interesting stuff to actually explore rather than each random ocean becoming very samey.

A nice game to chill out to at the end of the day though.

It could be cool, I enjoyed the first two as well as Everblue 1+2 by the same developer.

It will be cool if they make a VR version available. For now there is theBlu.

Would get it for like $20.... but it almost certainly will never reach that price, so i guess i probably won't be getting it.

@HalcyonScarlet: Have to agree. Gen 6 games in general look good in HD, and the first Endless Oceans were already pretty.

@Litchie: You only want more F-Zero. You need more Endless Ocean. Just kidding. I was happy about this, but if they announce an actual new F-Zero, I'll wet my pants.

@osan0: Yeah, that's my main concern. I get the thinking behind a randomly generated map, but it's rarely as interesting as something intentionally designed.

@my_user_name: That's fair. $50 is a bit steep for what this is. I'm more excited about a Switch 2 pushing prices down for OG Switch games than I am about the system itself.

Looks like I lost my own bet about Wenzen. Figured he would be post number 5 or so.

That looks pretty cool, I haven't played the other games but I was always intrigued.

@judaspete: If you can't get eaten by a great white shark or attacked by over animals then what's the point?

Loving these underwater games!

ABZU, Subnautica, Dave the Diver, and now this!

That's how I feel in Subnautica. Scary games are bad enough, but no...Subnautica has to add a third dimension so now bad guys can come from you below or above you (usually in games they're come from the front, rear, or sides).

And the sound design in that game!

All know about this is the meme voice acting.

Or is that Star Ocean? Whatever, all the same.

@mrbojangles25: Haha, I feel exactly the same. I still rank Subnautica as the scariest game I've ever played... and I love it. The art, the vibe, the music, the mechanics, and like you said, the sound.

I also liked Abzu, for a semi calm smaller experience.
