The game is 10 years old!!! If you didn't know that by now, I have no remorse for it getting spoiled here...
FFVII made me cry... but it was on the way out of the store with it. I was excited, so I hopped into the back of the jeep without mindinga sharp corner,and cut a long gash in my knee. I bear the scar to this day.
I remember the first time I truly cried out of frustration was when I was playing Socom 1 and I had a clan match (my clan was called TXR meaning Texas Rangers) and when I was the last person alive the game disconnected me from the internet (not the match the WHOLE online service) and took me around 10 minutes to log back on after I had to put the trigger buttons back on my controller after I threw it half way across the room (I was like 11 years old and now I'm 16). Heh good times good times :D ...

You get some serious true gamer points for that one...
I shed a single tear in KoTOR when I met Bastila at the top of the temple on Rakata Prime. I was shocked and devastated. it was just unexpected and I could only think of our time on all those planets. But in the end i saved her.
I did cry when she died, and thats the only time over a game that I have cried. FF7had a awesome story and character development. It is that and Castlevania SotN that are my two all time favorite games.

Dude,that game is what, 10 years old now? If you haven't played it by now, thats your fault (not actually meaning YOU, but whoever hasn't played it). I could understand if it was a year, or maybe even two years old, but 10? Sorry, but there has to be a time frame limit somewhere, and 10 years sure falls in thats slot.
