The fact that it's a vita game up resed to PS4 really kills any stock I might have had to put money on this. SFV is the only game that commands respect of a purchase from my wallet this month

Well hey people get hyped for kiddy things like pokemon and mario so i dont see whats wrong in talking about Digimon ;)
This is a full fledged RPG and a game i personally the TOPIC CREATOR very excited about, its been years and generations since the last RPG digimon game
@finalstar2007: there's a difference between kiddy and all age appropriate. But, I guess it does seem more adult oriented than the franchise has seemed in the past, certainly there's noticeably perkier tits than before.
I'm actually interested. I loved Digimon way back when. Played Digimon World 1,2 and a bit of 3 on the PS1. This game actually looks interesting due to Nostalgia and being a turn based jrpg. I think I might actually pick up this game after I finish Rise of the Tomb Raider. Too bad it's not on PC though, but I guess that's why I also have a PS4.

Back in the late 90's, this was the norm images that Digimon had and no one didn't think this was inappropriate for teens at the time and besides, Japanese have always done this type of style, Beyblade had similar images as well.

True. I remember reading that they did that so kids could easily pronounce the names when watching/playing Digimon. Who was your favourite digimon? Mine was Agumon and Gabumon (plus all their digivolutions)

@finalstar2007: A game like this looks to be is best suited for me on a handheld. I don't get a ton of time to play games these days, so the flexibility of portability is great.
I wouldn't play it if it were free, but that's just me. Not even into Pokemon for that matter.
Still, wondering how popular a Pokemon x Digimon game would be. Anybody into this shit that can weigh in on that?
Not popular at all. Since the Digimon and Pokemon anime came to America at around the same time and due to the "mon" suffix they're readily compared by non-fans such as yourself. If it wasn't for the suffix being the same nobody would even think to put these two franchises in the same box.
It would be easier to make a Yu-Gi-Oh!-Beyblade crossover.
On-topic: I'm defs gonna give this game a look, as I am a HUGE fan of the Digimon anime thru season 4. I never got into any of the games besides Adventure on the PS1 so I may take a gamble.
Anyone playing this yet? I imagine it will be 2 weeks or so if not longer before it gets reviews from the likes of GS/IGN.
I am simply IN LOVE with this game! omg its a mix between Tales and Persona, you start as a detective trying to figure out why some people are all of a sudden in a coma from playing online and there are a lot organizations trying to hide that fact (i will upload some gameplay) game is amazing
