Derp, I can say Gears of war 3 wins to.
By the way, those stating it lacks A.A is incorrect. Compare the jags from the beta to the final retail build. It's quite a revalation. I see a major difference.

Once more, and this. And screen tearing wise; it's not using triple buffering. So it won't get input lag. A.A is obvious there and frame drops really aren't prevelent in the campaign. Well, from what I've played.

I'm going to say this one more time. Gears 3 has more detailed textures and better texture filtering. Hell... Even Killzone 3 has better filtering than UC1-3.
Look at the pics and use common sense.
As for Uncharted 3... Naughty Dog should ditch MLAA altogether... Because it is seriously NOT WORKING correctly. All it is doing is blurring the image.
Now look at the texture filtering in this Uncharted 3 shot. There's many more I can show you if you think I'm "cherry picking".
listen chewy33, the differences between the rocks is that you actively walked on those rocks on gears 3, they were the floor pattern of the lvl. Those rocks of UC3 weren't, they were off to the side randomly. There is a difference.Derp, I can say Gears of war 3 wins to.

You mean a mesh. Yeah I know, generally both have areas that aren't exactly the pinnacle of texturing. And it's not hard to pick an area and or refined texture from Gears of war 3/Uncharted 3 and compare them to make which ever one you prefer look superior. I own both, I honestly both will host some visually stunning moments but can't tell the difference really.
