bethseda has posted up some photos of the graphics menu's and explained the differences between the pc and console version

both have FoV sliders (both pc & consoles)

both have aim assist & auto-aim sldiers (you can shut it off on both pc and consoles meaning that console gamers is about to see how ahrd it is to actually hit shtuff with thumbsticks :P)

mouse acceleration sldier (pc only)

graphical options for PC version this includes AA, graphical toggles and full single screen resolution support

http://www.vg247.com/2012/07/13/arkane-provides-a-look-at-dishonoreds-ui-options/

so unless you play on pants easy GL hitting stuff you controller bound freaks without turning on aim assist &/or auto-aim

and lulz at once again consoles not getting teh AA

Will be turning aim assist off and be playing on consoles (as i do with every game that has the option). Cool to see FOV settings in a console game too.

to be honest, i prefer the scroll wheel over the 1-0 shortcuts. they get in the way, i want my HUD to be minimalistic.

Being able to play with 90 FOV on consoles is quite an achievement!

Lol, NO console game would implement a true PC-like aim system.

EVERY developer says they add some measure of aim aists, even if turned all the way "off". And the hit boxes on consoles are larger than PC, they also mess with the AI to make it eaSier to hit. You cna see an exmaple of a dev saying exactly that when the original Gears of War was being ported for the PC

The only way to exprience what it actually is like to aim with thumbsticks is to do it on a PC game that allows a gamepad and does nto alter gameplay for it.

I believe Crysis 1 comes close, but even there the devs add some slight aim asist. Still, try playing Crysis one on Pc with a gamepad. It is HARD, even for console veterans.

SO yeah, that's not truly honest. You can't put out a game on console with the same hit boxes, the same difficulty level, and the same 0 aim assist as on PC. Consolites would have a fit.

You do know there is a reason why 90 degrees doesn't work as well on consoles, right?

Sub HD resolution means there's a limited amount of pixels to describe any particular frame. By increasing the FOV, you are adding detail to a scene, almost like zooming out a bit.

On PC, this is fine, because you're sitting near the screen, and the game is probably runing at or near 1080p (or higher). So all that extrta detail can be appreciated, adds to the scene, and of course gives you more peripheral view.

On a console on a TV you are probably sitting severla feeet away form the screen, and the low resolution means instead of more detail on the screen, things become smaller, and LESS detailed. A snioper you might have seen at FOV 65 becuase he takes up 100x100 pixels, not takes up 25x25 and he is indistinguishable from the terrain.

It's not a coincidence that almost no games allow you to mess with the FOV on consoles. Pretty much all developers figured this out.

I dunno about you but I found Crysis one to be simple on delta even with a gamepad...and i barely play consoles! In fact, I even banned myself from using a silencer to make it more difficult but alas the ownage continued!

I know this. I play my consoles the same length I play my PC games. So I wished their were other settings. My PS3 is hooked up to my right monitor and my Xbox 360 to the left one.
