DmC Devil May Cry 60+fps version due 10 days after the 30fps version.

I haven't been paying attention.. why is Dante a random lookin white guy now? Went from some sort of visually interesting design to.. this.

Nice that they're taking the time to add some PC features though. Playing that game with three monitors would be pretty fun.

MS Windows 7/8 has native support for Xbox 360 controller. Treat the Xbox 360 controller as with any other MS branded input devices e.g. MS Sidewinder gaming mouse and keyboards.

and thats what I was getting at, you can't play a DMC with a KB/M, it requires a controller which is basically a 360 controller that needs to be hooked up to your PC.

It would be like playing a RTS on a console with a controller, it wouldn't work very well unless you had keyboard support for the system and game, which now that I think about it I don't think I've seen a game on consoles support a keyboard function since FF11.

Then you really must not be into the genre. Double the fraps is a HUGE deal. Especially the jump from 30 to 60. 30 fraps was a deal breaker for me, I wasn't going to buy the game until I saw this thread and now I know I'll be getting it on PC.

I would rather get used to playing DMC with mkb than deal with a 30 fraps gimped hack and slash.

I'm used to the standard that if I can manage 30 fps, i'm happy (except for anything online and competitive, obviously). But, games of this type in particular benefit immensely from the extra frames. And, all the other DMC games ran at 60 fps (even on the PS2). For anyone who's played and enjoyed the DMC games before, playing at 30 fps will feel absolutely sluggish (as has been mentioned by loads of people already, who have played the demo).

Yeah, I do seem to remember encountering some slowdown at points in DMC3 on the PS2. But at least it wasn't capped and, under lighter circumstances, could go all the way to 60. Haven't actually been following the new one at all. Still need to get around to checking out DMC4.
