With any CD based system, all you heard was "Load time, Load time", well the PS3 got rid of "Load times with DMC4. The only way to get rid of load times is to install a game and have it run off the hard drive. They even said that if all 360's came with hard drive it would have been the same way. Dont hate the PS3, hate the 360 for not having hard drive in every system. I LIKE NOT HAVING LOAD TIMES. CubanBlunt
I thought I just read the PS3 still has load times, and that the differences were a couple seconds between the PS3/360 versions. Not exactly worth the install, if you ask me. But not for time concerns, but for HDD space. And besides, waiting 20-30 minutes to install a game isn't really a big deal anyway.

The difference from MANY 6sec loading times and 1 20min loading time, is that in the 20min you can go and do something else, you can start it at night and sleep, but not a point doing that between every loading time now is there?

I know that the PS3 still will have some loading time, but i rather have 1 LONG and many shorter that 0 LONG and many not that short : )

6 seconds is not long, and on top of that it matters when those loading sequences happen.

Judging by the demo, and reviews its not even a giant issue. Its just not super quick, woo hoo.

Im not saying yeah 360 gets longer loading times.

Im saying cows shouldnt be so excited over quicker loading times when there console needs an install to get it that way.

It's not like us ps3 owners have the choice about installing im sure the ps3 could not have had the install and had the same load times as 360, the developer obviously chose what they feel is best for the game and that was an install and shorter loading times.

Exactly! Which is why almost every PS3 game has some type of install. Because the BD is slow & you would've had twice the load time as the X360 version. Capcom & many devs do this for PS3 to shorten or eliminate load times completely. It's not a bad idea, don't get me wrong...But until i upgrade to a larger HDD, im gonna keep my 5gb ;)

If it improves load times why wouldnt it be good,too bad for most 360 users because the core is gimped.

Most 360 users don't own the core.

get your facts straight, the PS3 version needs to install stuff because the blu-ray is really slow loading data, if it didn't had an installation the game would take alot of time to load.

not really, all other multiplats have similar loading times.. case in point: call of duty 4.

That's pretty cool. I haven't played a DMC game since the first one so now I can check up on the storyline :D

Yeah having to wait 20 minutes sucks but having no load times is pretty sweet. :D

All the Wii games I have ever played have virtually no load times and do not need to be installed. :D

How is the core gimped? More like a good option for some. Most people that buy the core know they will not be going online to download stuff or play so why would they spend the extra money if they're never going to use it.
