Textures, effects... and you don't need to be a fanboy to see the differences either. :|
Pwned.
I tire of people saying they can't see a difference, sure it's slight but it's there and it's not that slight.
1. Lighting - overall the PS3 shows a wider range of contrast with whites and blacks. The hair is more shaded in the PS3 side, which makes the highlights pop out more. The background is nearly pitch black on the PS3, while the Xbox 360 still shows details in the dark regions (look above head). Also you can see a slight difference in shade on the holster/sheath on his back, PS3 having a darker apperance than Xbox 360.
2. Mapping - look at the red cloth textures. The Xbox360's shows a bit more detail in terms of definition and depth of contrast. And the cloth closest to his neck on the Xbox 360 side actually look to have detail while the PS3 side is fairly void of detail.
Take note - I don't give a damn which one looks "better", but they are different. If you want I could go on to the next ones and point out how the snow effects differ. PS3's being more fog like, while Xbox 360 side showing more definition. Among other things.
yeah, textures will be slightly better on 360, and maybe anti aliassing. but you wont notice this while playing.
In this game i would look for other differences: Loadtimes, framerate and controler preference.

The detail of the x360 is slightly better and you wont notice it unless you really look. I'm just wondering how the x360 gets a slight edge when the PS3 was the LEAD platform.
Only thing I can think of is maybe its because of the flexibility of the RAM and GPU of the x360.

Wrong, there is no "lead platform" for Capcom's multi-plat games. They are made using a PC program that has been made to make it easy to port to both systems easily. It may have started as a PS3 game, but considering the demo shown at TGS and available in PS3 kiosks in Japan wasn't made using complete PS3 hardware (and you could tell, it looked like an XBOX game with first gen PS2 jaggies), I am pretty sure nothing of that old code would be left.
There is a slight difference, more noticeably in the 1st picture
If you look at the hood its slightly more detailed in the 360 version and the part of the hood thats closer to Neros neck has almost no detail in the Ps3 version whereas there is some detail in the 360 version
But as I said these are only very slight differences and Will not exactly make a huge difference to the game
