Hell yeah. Read A Song of Ice and Fire recently. And the Chaos and Order series. And a bunch of single novel sci-fi.

Reading and gaming = favorite hobbies. Reading takes precedence sometimes, and books do at other times.

This thread should probably be in Off-Topic, but whatever.

I'm currently reading:
LA Confidential - James Ellroy
The System of the World - Neal Stephenson
Assorted Raymond Chandler and HP Lovecraft stories
...and the new Discworld book, which I bought about ten minutes ago.

Good taste. LA Confidential? Is that a novel that the movie was based on? :o

Is Discworld worth it? I read "Interesting Times" on the plane ride back from Peru, and it was good. Should I just read the whole lot of them?

[QUOTE="ArisShadows"]I a bit fan of Blizzard Books, Tam Clancy books, D&D books, Dragonlance boooks.mushroomscout89

Thats cheating.

Dragonlance series is great.

Edit: I mean, they're meant for someone half my age (which is when I originally read them) but they're still good.

I'm talking about the Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman ones. The ones by other authors, I've only read a few of.

WoT is awesome. I've read the first 4 books, but I'm now waiting for the series to finish before reading the rest.

Unfortunately for you, it's all downhill from there.

I mean, I've read the first 6 WoT books about 10 times each :o, but Jordan starts to wander in 5 and 6, and then REALLY gets lost in his threads in the rest. The last one was surprisingly good though. So, it may be a bit of a struggle through 7/8/9/10, but if you can get to 11...

You must have missed the news - Robert Jordan died two weeks ago. He didn't get to finish the final book. Planeforger
*dies*

What an ass. How dare he die. I knew this was going to happen. I guessed it 4 years ago.

DAMMIT. DAMMIT dammit dammit.

What a pisser.

I just checked out "Amerika" by Franz Kafka from the college library, but damned if I'm having any time to read it. So, yes...I read. I love reading.
