Well, let's see. Blue Dragon has been given decent reviews, somewhere between A and AA. So good, not mind-blowing. Lost Odyssey we have seen little of.

I think it is so funny that people are always ready to write off Final Fantasy when it is one of the most consistently AAA franchises in the world. A history of GS scores: FF7: 9.5, FF8: 9.5, FF9: 8.6 FFX=9.3, FFX-2: 8.1, FFXII= 9.0

So yes, FFXIII does stand a chance. That is like asking, "does the next Zelda stand a chance? Cause there is this new game we know littleaboutby a company that has done nothing yet and I think its over for Zelda."

But, I need to get on topic somewhere in this thread; I don't think either of those will stand up to FF, the series as a whole has much more behind it and FFXIII looks amazing so far. Never know, it could score less but it seems doubtful.

This like i've said many times before is like saying haze could outdo halo 3. Halo 3's formula is ridculously impressive.

FF13 is an evolution like ff7 was on the ps1.

No prob, I thought you were just misreading my comments. I actually had BD reserved but then I just didn't like what I was seeing and dropped it a week back for something else (CoD4). I may pick it up later, but a JRPG for a console better be something special to pay the full price, or at least overly niche making me get it then. BD seems to be neither.

Of coure Flop Fantasy 13 doesn't stand a chance. I highly doubt that Square Enix will be able to make a better game, that will end up scoring higher then the 6.0 Blue Dragon got.luggymeister
