[QUOTE="householdman"][QUOTE="JiveT"][QUOTE="householdman"][QUOTE="JiveT"] Halo is better than Half Life from a gameplay standpoint. Systemshock and Deus Ex are RPG's with a FPS perspective. Nobody Lives Forever was a strong game I'll give you that! Thief is a stealth game with a FPS perspective. Tribes doesn't even come close to matching Halo in terms of gameplay quality.

Have you ever played Half Life lol? From a gameplay stand point, it pwns halo over and over again until Halo dies from internal bleeding. THe weapons have punch the story has flash, and Gordon Freeman is one of he most iconic video game protaganists ever to grace the gaming world.
Yeah I played Half Life and sorry but the gameplay doesn't come close and the AI in Halo is far superior. Gordan Freeman is a nerd.
Gordon Freeman is a nerd that can kick ass. If the weapon mechanics had been changed to feel better in Halo after the first Halo then it MAY be able to hold a candle to HL gameplay wise, but as it stands, Halo 3s gameplay is over shadowed by a game realeased in 1998.
Nice opinions.........very snob, arrogant and elitist opinions I might add.....
This is SW Pretty much every single thing that you read on this forum is opinion, I have played both, and I happen to think(And I'm sure I'm not the only one)that while Halo 3 is an awesome game (I play it at work, we have an 360 in the 'chill out zone')it is just not up to the standard of HL.
Further more, I fail to see how my previous post may be interpreted as elitist. I never said anything that claimed I am better than anyone else and if you consider thinking one game is of higher standard the another then we are all guilty of elitist povs.
