Maybe because if his 360 scratches a disc, then he'll always have like 7 more discs, just to be safe. biggamerhk
Doesn't EB games allow you to spend like $3 so that if anything happens you'll get a new one?
Christmas gifts? It's my best guess.mattbbplProbably. :D I have to go Christmas shopping soon too. :(
[QUOTE="-D3MO-"]Wow...just when I thought I've seen and heard everything about EB Games and Gamestop...
Today I went to one of these stores (an EB Games in NW Las Vegas). I had just received a $50 EB Games Gift Card so I went out to buy The Witcher cause I heard it was a great PC RPG.
So I go to the store (the employees at this EB are not bad, don't bother u, don't question the games ur buying, don't hassle u too much w/ pre-orders magazine subscriptions, etc.)...walk in, its kind of busy in there, lots of kids (but its soon to be X-mas so nothing out of the ordinary), go to the small PC section and find the Witcher.
As I'm walking up to the counter, I see a man purchasing 8, that's right EIGHT, copies of Mass Effect. I was like WTF? (not out loud, but in my head).
So I pay for my game, and leave. (I didn't ask the employee, or the man purchasing the games about the transaction, since it's none of my business)...but wow.
Why would u buy 8 copies of the same game?

I live in Vegas too and you should know by now that people here are weird. :D
He was probably going to eat 3.
Give one to his son.
Play frisbe with another one.
Donate 2 to charity.
And then use the other two to make a Madonna-esque bra..
that makes 9 >.>
LOL one of my uncles has like 3 copies of doom 3 and a few copies of other games too for xbox 1! (he lives in america and I havent been to his house for a while and he got 360 several months ago).Whenever he passes by a gaming store he mostly just picks up a game and his kids are like 6,4 and 2 or 3 years old.He might of stopped doing that now.
