Do sheep feel betrayed by Nintendo?

In just slightly over a year, I got a new mario, zelea, metroid, smash, warioware, and mario kart. As well as lost winds, zack and wiki, no more heroes, 2 trauma centers, and tons of party time with my non-gaming friends thanks to wiisports.

How the hell could I possibly feel betrayed?

Do you think Nintendo has abondoned their core audience in favour of casuals who don't even know about the pre Wii days?. I do. I saw this earlier

This was on Ellen, she gave Wii consoles & Wii Fit to every member of her audience!. Look how excited these non gaming women get at the sight of a Wii, it's their console, not ours. Nintendo has betrayed us. I bought a Wii, but I will be selling it as two games a year aimed at hardcore Nintendo fans is not enough for me. You can have all the soccer moms in the world Nintendo, just don't expect your real fans to stick around to see you slap them in the face.

Maybe next gen you will remember who got you to where you are today.

This thread should've ended ages ago, on your point, some guy posted a video of Ellen giving away PS3s and the women were just as excited...I'd be pretty happy if someone was giving me a 300$ piece of kit for free no matter what it was, even if I didn't want it, off to e-Bay we go mr gadget.

Yep, I feel tottally betrayed, I bought NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube and I did not buy a Wii. I have had enough of Nintendo's bull after the Gamecube. Toriko42

I don't feel betrayed at all, I got Mario Kart Wii last weekend and think it's the best installment since MK64.

Just because Wii Fit is Main stream doesn't mean they aren't shelling out my favorite games.

...and that is your opinion. IMO Nintendo dropped the ball with the GCN and are now gaining back my loyalty with the Wii. Funny how opinions can vary. lol

Wii Play or Wii Sports?

I'm really happy about the direction Nintendo is going. I have owned every system they have produced and this is by far the best. I own a PS3 also but I play my Wii much more often.

What many of you fail to realize is that not everyone who plays video games is 18. I'm 28 and I love to play Wii games with my children. My PS3 is basically banished because virtually every decent game involves guns, blood, or porn.

I feel the exact same way. I was a deep nintendo fan since the Nes era, but this wii junk was pathetic. They completely abandoned people that supported them and kept them afloat during their gamecube era when they were last place. There really isnt any decent games for the wii except for the handful they release every once in a while. And those arnt even that great. I gave the wii 2 chances. Owned a wii for a year after launch then sold it and the pathetic games, then i rebought it for SSBB and sold it again. Im sorry nintendo but unless you stop betraying your real fans u wont be regarded as a contender in video gaming anymore. Just toys. Nintendo actually made me do something i never thought id do. I hated the PS1 and PS2 but now Im a PS3 fan. and thats thanks to nintendo.beinss

Games Nintendo has already released: Fire Emblem, Batalion Wars 2, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii. All these games within the first year and a half of the Wii's existence. Only a handful of games released once in a while? Orly? Plus, you don't even have to answer my post. I know what your argument will be: I don't like any of those games.

And here's another bit of info for you. All the consoles and handhelds are toys.
