Do we all agree that Uncharted is the best looking console game to ever exist?

I think it looks the best. I doubt we'd all agree on that though.

There's more to this game than just graphics though. It's a very fun game if you like exploration, hunting etc. Hopefully people look into it when they get a PS3.

I own Prologue. It's great looking, especially in cockpit view, but it didn't blow me away. Great game, though.

I was not impressed with it, downloaded the demo and Almost quit before i finished i got that bored with it lol. Thought the oppening scene was extremely cheesey. AndrewStar101

I have to agree. Uncharted is an excellent looking game, but I still say (as I've been saying time and again, although no one seems to agree) people are being seduced by the bright colors in the game. The detail of the characters, and even the terrain isn't up to Gears' level; it just happens to have much nicer colors. Is it about on par with Gears? Probably. But I submit that in some ways, Mass Effect surpasses them both (character models), and even Assassin's Creed is superior in some (animations and draw distance). I'm not sure there is one lone "best-looking" game at this point, but if there is, I still don't think it's Uncharted.

If you are talking about graphics then it is one of the best looking games. If you are including art then it is not one of the best.

I love the unlockables, I didn't get all of them though.

I've only ever played the uncharted demo and from what I've seen it's amazing; definitely the graphics king, but it does share that throne with... Gears of war. Most people say it's dated, boring, colorless etc... but I bet if that game were to come out tomorrow instead of '06 people would be saying "omg gears of wars graphics pwns". Uncharted and Gears haveset the standard for next gen graphics.El-Visitante

thanks, yes it is. They're the best spanish music/reggaeton group out there imo. Back on topic, I also forgot to mention Assassin's Creed but didn't do so becauseI was sure thiswould bea "who's consoles exclusive game has the best graphics thread" but overall it's up there with the two. The lighting, the draw distance the animations are top shelf. Everytime I pop that game in, each city blows me away.

Yes, I agree with that.

The rich and vivid color palette, consisting of greens, oranges, blues, reds, etc. was one hell of a refreshing change of pace from all of the games out there that just use various shades of brown and gray.

in motion that game is freaking beautiful.

Judging solely on the first screenshot. IMO Halo3 topped that in the first jungle level. However Halo3 is far from best looking game on PS3. Ace combat 6 is a good looking game, bioshock has the whole beauty, art design package sewn up. mass effect has its moments too. I didn't even mention gears of warsts106mat

Of all two games worth mentioning for the wii you chose metroid? SMG looks better than metroid and if even a sheep can't admit that then there can't be anything said to convince you otherwise. Shameful.

there are more important things than graphics. who really cares if the graphics in uncharted are .1111% better than gears of war or watever, as a ps3 owner i know i dont.
