Are we, the culmanative hive mass mind of gamers still giving a shit about Assasins Creed?
I don't, the only one even close to decent was 2 and even that was highly overrated.
How feels you? Will you run out and buy it day 1?

I have never been a fan of the series so I am not technically burned out on it since I havent spent a lot of time with it. So this one looks mildly interesting. I rthink I am picking it up.
I think this might be the first Ubisoft game I buy that is Uplay required.
But only getting it when it's on sale.
Nice to finally get a good pirate game.
we, the culmanative hive mass mind of gamersuninspiredcupNo, we're not a hivemind by any means. That said, yes, I'll get it day one, because I want to, not because anyone else is getting it. Hell, I'll probably be one of the few around my place who'll be getting it. I'm not very eager about the huge focus naval combat is going to have, but what I've seen of it has intrigued me despite that, since I don't really care about "dumbing down" and stuff like that.
Assassins Creed was one of my favorite franchises, but they've run it into the ground.
It needs a good 3 year break and they need to completely overhaul the stealth and combat mechanics.

I am not a number, I'm a free man!
And as such, I do care about Black Flag, will get it eventually, when the price is right.
After 3 I thought Iw as done with AssGrabber's Creed.
But the demos they've shown of the whole pirate on an open sea... it sounds a lot like what I hoped a Sid Meyer's Pirates sequel to be.
I'll probably spend all my time doing that, and ignoring the story missions, except where they become necessssary.
Basically, I just want a really good pirate game. Since there isn't one... AC4 it'll have to be.
No, been burned way too many times by this bordering on shovelware company. I will also be avoiding watch dogs. It is like they want to be rockstar so bad, but refuse to put any time, money, or effort into their shitty games.
I may be getting it. It seems like the first game of the AssCreed franchise to incorporate true stealth elements (previous AssCreed games are not stealth games), so it may be interesting for me. I'll have to wait though. My hatred for the AssCreed franchise will be hard to overcome; I still despise the franchise for all but killing off Prince of Persia.
[QUOTE="Zophar87"]I heard the 3rd one was ass.I'm getting it but I'm not expecting much after 3.

Shame, and I was thinking about buying it at some point.I would give it a try, it may have all the usual flaws you can expect from an AC game (or any Ubisoft open world game), like a whole lot of trivial, repetitive tasks and disgusting levels of handholding, but still, it has some redeeming values like the ship combat, awesome setting and some fun mechanics like tree climbing.
For cheap, it's not a bad purchase. Got it for 15 EUR or so, finished it, and haven't regretted it much. Would be pissed if I paid anything close to full price, though.
I think it looks amazing and am definitely interested in it. That being said I'll probably be holding off on it for awhile, Killzone and Watch Dogs will be my Launch PS4 games.
