Do We Need ALAN WAKE 2 ?!

First let me clear two things ... First yes alan wake 2 is already confirmed to be in remedy's sights so long as there are enough fans for it... Secondly about the sales, realize the bad sales it got because it honestly isnt a game that would grab the attention of casual gamers and gamers who dont research into things. Things like halo and rdr already look awesome from there cover, alan wake from its cover can seriously be mistaken for shovelware......... Overall though, alan wake is great cus it is what gaming needs, new fresh ideas and great storytelling. I would rather buy more games like alan wake than gears of war anyday cud thd game actually has u work towards something meaningful other than a chance for a chainsaw assassination............DO You WANT ALAN WAKE 2?!!

I never played the first Alan Wake (i really want to), but im sure a second Alan Wake would be welcomed by all, well maybe except Sony Fanboys, but everyone else

I think AW2 would be huge. The first one got critical acclaim, but MS made the stupid decision to release it the same day as Red Dead Redemption.

I'd want Alan Wake 2. The original was great even with its repetitive combat (although really fun), and I assume the 2nd would vary it up a bit. I hope it comes into fruition.

I believe the main problem with Alan Wakes sales was its marketing, MS did a poor job of marketing the game. I dont think I saw one comercial for the game.

YES, Alan Wake was way better then I expected. One of this gens top 10 games imo.

After five years of waiting, the first one got cancelled for PC. Only in MS and Remedys wet dream would I ever buy a 360 just to play these games.

There was no closure wat so ever. I was just pissed. I wont go into detail cause the game is new and dont wanna spoil it for people.

I don't know. Didn't much care for Alan Wake but I believe the annoyances I had with the game could easily be fixed in a sequel.

Unfortunately, I also believe the main thing that was actually good about the game, the story, would falter greatly. Much like I thought Max Payne's story was amazing, but Max Payne 2's wasn't as good but it improved on virtually everything else. Speaking of which, I hope Max Payne 3 doesn't suck.

Sure. The game was far from perfect, but it had a lot of potential. It sounds like the dlc has some interesting ideas regarding the light/dark/words mechanics, which I'd like to see expanded upon in a full sequel. I'd get it.
