I mean a game that has come out recently. As a former frustrated and bored Wii owner, I sold the damn thing for almost full price and I'm happy with it...but I just want to make sure if I am missing out on anything.
Call of duty World At war is amazing on the wii Im having a blast on the MP and SP front :D other then that tho its very baren this holiday season, but 09 is looking very good for us wii owners and all the people that sold it just because ONE drought are going to be kicking themselves when alot of the amazing games come out next year.

I agree. I own Cod: WaW and it's great. 09 is shaping up well better than 08 already.

To be fair, its been one heckova drought... Yeah I agree its a drought when it comes to console exclusive games :( But the wiiware games are were its at this holiday and when I get the points IM deff getting tetris and world of goo.

Seriously, the first half of Wii's 08 overshadowed PS3 and 360, so PS3/360 owners should calm down a bit on the Wii bashing. As said before, I am having lots of fun with CoD:WaW personally.

Well, currently I'm playing Tales of Symphonia 2, Sonic Unleashed, Secret of Mana (VC), Strong Bad Episode 4 (WW), Animal Crossing: City Folk, and of course Smash Bros. For my 360, I'm on-and-off with Vesperia. Although a great game, the combat's too slow paced compared to ToS2.

i'm looking forward to madworld house of the dead so far I'm enjoying lost in blue cod 5 tos 2, 2009 is looking great for the wii i don't care what anyone has to say 09 will be awesome..

On topic, the Wii is obviously having a bit of a drought this holiday season because quite a few games were delayed to 09. 09 is looking very bright though.Â
Sorry but this is true, the Wii is for my wife and kid, and nothing has really interested me. I've played and play Wii sports from time to time, and Mario galaxy was alright. I am however looking forward to the new Punch Out, I was a huge fan of Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and Super Punch Out. Also Madworld looks decent but it will probably be a let down like No More Heros, could not get into that game. Sad thing is I really wanted to get into the Wii, and I played Red Steel, again a game that was decent but just doesn't compare to anything on my 360. I by most games for the 360, and I am waiting for that must have game on the Wii, that I will be into. I'm not into the arm flailing one button pressing garbage that is Super Smash Bros Brawl, and except for Mario Galaxy everything else nintendo has made has been a let down for me, I really hope Punch Out can deliver. Wii is definatley not for the hardcore gamer IMO

It's clear you've never played Smash Bros. because your statement is a completely misinformed untruth. There is no arm-flailing, no "one button pressing" gameplay. I'd suggest giving Blast Works a rent first. I've been hyped for that game for awhile, but I personally find it very boring when I picked it up.

What games are coming out?Muramasa, Little King's Story, Punch Out!!, Sin & Punishment 2, Rune Factory, K.O.R.E., Sky Crawlers, Madworld, The Conduit, Arc Rise Fantasia, Kororinpa 2 and Wii Motion + (not a game, but if you've seen the videos demoing what it can do you'd see why it's actually a pretty big deal). Looks to have much more variety and generally high quality games than any other system.
I only listed Madworld and The Conduit because a lot people actually want those games. >_>

Is Cave Story still coming to WiiWare? If so, they have something very major to talk about as it's probably only second to La Mulana in terms of all the other freeware indy titles.

Why do people continually post that Wii has no games? I read a thread not that long ago that stated that the Wii had more games than either other console and, though not as many highly rated games, it had a good share of it's own highly rated ones. People just love to hate the Wii. I have fun with mine.
There is nothing you're missing out on. All of the games people were waiting for like Smash Bros, Zelda, Metroid, and Mario have come out and Nintendo is just releasing gimmicks now like Wii Music and Wii Fit. I sold my Wii recently and am a lot happier now that I got my money back for it.

So basically this thread tells me that I did the right thing selling my Wii because there is absolutely NOTHING, NOTHING to drool over. CoD: WaW? On the Wii? Lol that would be the last console to get that game for.
