Do you beat the games that you don't like?
I´m obsessive-compulsive, even if I don´t like it I still feel the need to finish it ( not necessarily right away ).

Nahh Hardly have time to finish the games i like, so if I don't enjoy a game after 3-4 hours I'll just drop it and move on..
There are cases where I finish a game I don't enjoy playing because the story has me interested - eg. The Last of Us.
usually I abandon something I'm not enjoying pretty quickly. Its not like I make a conscious decision to stop either, if I'm not enjoying something I don't get the urge to play it and wont start it up again.
@mjorh: It's funny to me because I see the terms "waste of money" thrown around a lot here. Whether in regards to a console, pc, or a game. I always think to myself, how old are these people? I'm not rich by any means, but by middle age I understand that $1000 isn't really an amount of money that I can't recover from.
Like I said sometimes you get a lemon, it's ok. I'll make more money.

Yeah, there's no need to get fussy over such things, especially if you have a good amount of income
Depends.
One game I played months ago that I grew to detest was Kirby Mass Attack. The reason the game pissed me off though was trying to go for the gold stars in every level in the game, and oh boy let me tell that s*** is some of the most frustrating stuff I've ever had to deal with (I'd sure love to see the people that complain about Kirby games being too easy give it a shot...).
I just wasn't having any fun trying to gold star the whole game, so I decided to give up and just play through right to the final boss, beat the game, and never look back at the game ever again.
@mjorh: For instance, @Heil68 said he was upgrading his pc, then buying an Xbox Scorpio next year. Someone felt that was a waste of money. A) not their money, so who cares; B) I'm sure from knowing Heil he won't be homeless from this purchase decision.
The waste of money point is pointless because each has their own value system

Yeah that's pretty stupid, after all only the person himself can decide whether it's a waste of money or not , given the fact that the said person is already knowledgeable in the matter
With time restrictions, I barely manage to beat games I do like.
That image in your sig.. so frisky...
Depends on the degree of dislike. I do a podcast so it helps as far as just have something to talk about games wise, I'm trying to beat 52 games this year, so there is like point of no return, and there is an OCD about it (which is probably the real reason), as I said there is a point of no return, my stubborn ass now needs to be done with this game.

The E3 proper podcast is going up tomorrow, I'd suggest waiting for that one if only for our E3 review scale lol
Because of xbox 360 achievements i've played so many sucky games. With that said there are a lot of games i played i really enjoyed i wouldn't have normally played.
Cars XBOX 360, Disney Universe, Toy Story 3.
Depends, I try to avoid games that I won't like like heavy RPG games or cinematic games (besides Heavy Rain, I liked it)
Last time I beat games that I hated was when I bought a PS3 along with UC1, UC2, UC3, Killzone 2/3 and SOCOM 4.
Only liked UC1 a bit, would have been a waste of money if I didn't play them.
There is always something that kept me going.
For example final fantasy XIII and GTA 4 it was because they are my favorite franchise and I was hype.
Red dead redemption was because I really like the story, but the game was just boring.
Nah I cant finish a game if i dont enjoy it, I always pick games i know i'll love or at least like ~
Sometimes if it's not too time consuming, I like to finish the game to see if there is a point to the story.

i listened to the episode 88 (it was at the top , didn't notice the recent ones) , it was good i liked it, my only gripe is that others don't weigh in on much , i mean the podcast is mostly you speaking (of course, i'm only talking about the said episode)
I'll download that too.
Sometimes, I like to get my moneys worth even if I dont really like the games but sometimes they are just unbearably bad. I never finished Resident Evil 4 or MGS4 though I did manage to finish Crysis 2 and Killzone 2 about a year after buying them.
Not really. I don't even buy games I don't like. I generally do enough research to know I won't like a game before buying it and having played games for years I can generally tell games I won't like. I often get surprised by games that are better than I thought they would be but for the most part I'm on the money when predicting games I won't like.
The last game I really didn't like but finished was Watchdogs. I finished it to review it and try to find some sort of redeeming quality. I didn't.
I also bought The Division a game I knew I wouldn't like because some friends were playing it. Such a shallow game Ubisoft has no shame lol. That said, I enjoyed For Honor at E3 but it's a pvp game.
I used to back in the Atari and 8 bit era where you can finish a game in one sitting. The only game that I played through that I did not enjoy after that was DNF.
I'll give a poor game some time, it makes the good games more enjoyable after playing dirt.
As a lover of trophies I'll play a awful game for them. I've played Hannah Montana and Terminator Salvation for the easy platinums, it's sad really.

That is truly sad.

Damn you're a trophy hunter, i never cared for achievements or trophies ...guess you're the opposite of me :D
