Oh and I have acknowledged the fact that there isn't enough RPG's on the XB1 in Xbox Association with fellow Xbox gamers, saying that I would like to see Lost Odyssey 2 & Blue Dragon 2 announced at E3 this year, which are games from Japan and means more Japanese support right? but you already knew this, so stop carrying on with your usual BS.

And you oflow also failed to understand that PS4 offers more variety of games and it's the reason why Xbox One is selling miserably in Japan, PS4 has more JRPG games on it and that's the problem with MS, they need to give more variety of games then just plain shooters. Why do you think Xbox 360 was a one hit wonder over there? They had more JRPG games at that time giving the 360 $1 million sold units, that may not be the best numbers but it's something to take into consideration that 360 is and will always be the best Xbox console then One. I shut my Xbox One down and went back to Xbox 360.

Some people don't like JRPG/Anime you say, why the hell is PS4 selling for damn well and not Xbox One? Hell even the Wii U would've outshine Xbox One if Nintendo had not screwed up from the start.

Lost Odyssey 2 and perhaps PSO 2 but beyond that, Japan these dayzz, not really.

It comes down to preference, but I didn't care at all when I had a XB1. When I think of Japanese games I think of Persona and Star Ocean. Those types of games simply aren't my cup of tea.

Nobody cares about the PS4.

It'll probably get better by the time the Hololens is available for consumers. Games like Project DIVA and iDOLM@STER will likely jump to the Xbox Platform so as to give the player a virtual table dancer in their actual living room.

Other than Street Fighter and Devil May Cry there really aren't many japanese made games that I want to play. I mean you got FFXIV and KH3 coming for those that really like some JRPGs. Other wise not really a big of a deal.

It's not shit posting if it's true. Personally I'd love a Lost Odyssey 2, the first one was my favorite game on the Xbox 360, a console which I liked more than the PS3 FYI.

Lems, as a collective fanbase, have made a big toxic noise and fuss about hating games this gen. They hate anything that isn't Western AAA which shows since the Xbone only sells and is relevant in NA and only NA. So it's of no surprise that any lem isn't going to make a big fuss about not getting Japanese support. There just isn't an audience there.

The PS4 will get worldwide software support, and not phoned-in shit either.

Don't really care, if I want to play any of those Japanese titles then I'll buy them on my Playstation but I have really little to no interest in those games expect for maybe a few so I can care less about them. I enjoy playing the games on my Xbox that I have for them and quite satisfied with the titles I know is coming in the future for the console.

Yeah, I mean it sucks that the X1 and PS4 are doing shitty in Japan, but they are a mobile crowd.

I already mentioned how I personally felt on a similar thread a few weeks ago on Japanese games on Xbox platforms. And frankly, if it's JRPGS, then no, I don't care about that genre.

The problem with Japanese games TODAY, in my opinion, is the fact that the days of Castlevania, Contra, Beat 'em Ups, Platformers (non-Nintendo), Shmups or any Japanese games outside the JRPG genre, from the 16bit Era to 32/64bit era are LONG GONE or somewhat very limited in a niche market. There was a time when I loved and enjoyed fun games that were developed from premier, well known Japanese companies in those eras. But they're all have narrowed down to the JRPG genre.

TODAY, if it's a Japanese game from a top premier, well known Japanese developers, it's MOST LIKELY a JRPG. Bloodeborne, Souls series, Final Fantasy, Persona, etc. are examples of that.

Games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, DMC or even Ninja Gaiden are currently narrowed down to mediocrity. There is just NOT enough of Japanese games, outside the JRPG genre, that are interesting anymore, as far as I see it.

So to answer the question. If it's Japanese Support, meaning JRPGS? Then NO, I absolutely don't care.

Why would people buy a console thats not next gen when they already own one. Most people besides the super rich dont own a tv over 1080p anyway, that and if you are that fps obsessed the pc is a better bet.

I would prefer for the Japanese to support both, if not all 3 consoles. The fact that they do not though means that I also do not support them. I'll buy their products when they stop acting like xenophobic cunts.

Don't really care, the games that I like are usually released on xbox one. The other obscure titles that bypass xbox one don't interest me so no love lost.

LOL when did the Xbox ever sell great in Japan? Last gen they went for JRPGs and the 360 sold more but it was still made fun of for its low numbers in Japan on this forum. When are people going to just accept that the Japanese are loyal to the Japanese when it comes to consoles? Nothing Xbox does will change that.

So are you really saying that Xbox 360 $1 million sold not worth anything at all? I for one consider achievement to MS, it's as far as any Xbox console goes for that milestone. It's better then nothing right? We both know Xbox 360 is the best MS console to date.

Assuming you meant 1 million units in Japan that is still 1 million out of 84 million, equating to 1.18% marketshare is in Japan. Thats not worth much of anything.

Well, I care. There were tons of Japanese games on the XBox 360 early in it's lifetime, now it seems all the Japanese developers jumped ship even though the XB1 is selling about as good as the 360 did. The fact that XB1 is dead in Japan is probably one of the main reasons, but most of these Japanese games sell more copies in Europe and U.S. then in Japan, so that's a pretty lame excuse for avoiding the XB1. Games like FF XIII, Tales of Vesperia & Eternal Sonata had sold very well on the 360. These developer should at least make an effort to get their games on XB1. It won't affect me either way since I own a PS4 as well, but games who only have a XB1 will be missing out.

Hhhmm it's the largest selling U.S. produced game console in Japan. No other American produced game console has sold 1.6 million units in Japan. It's too bad American's aren't loyal to their American brands. Maybe our jobs wouldn't be getting outsourced all over the world.

@davillain-: The $1 million in 360 sales has to be measured against what they spent in advertising, shipping to the country in order to know what it's true worth financially was. An achievement doesn't mean much if it was a net loss financially.

@blackace: There is a point to that. America is a great ideal in the sense of opportunities and freedom for them. But it has also fostered a sense of looking out for number one to the extreme. The consumer will forego buying an American companies product if the foreign one is cheaper or viewed as better. And the American corporations are going to look out for themselves in maximising profits by using the cheapest labor possible while top executives are paid disgusting amounts.

@Pedro: Especially with it being well publicized last gen that MS was making a serious push for market share in Japan. It still came in at 1.18% and how much was actually invested in to it? I've said it before forum praise doesn't impress the board of directors or pay bills. They obviously are not going to try to go in hard in that market this gen and I don't blame them.

I care that xbox one doesn't see jrpgs ... Its a game console so a game console should have all genre of games ... But its not a deal breaker for me ... I'll get my fill with Final Fantasy 15 and other big named jrpg titles coming ... whatever they may be ... Hopefully at E3 we get something announced ... If not like i said its not that big a deal

Persona 5 getting delayed until 2017 really sucks. I'm still waiting for a big release from Japan Studio, they have a new Gravity Rush and Tomorrow's Children in the works but they haven't released those yet so that would be nice. Still waiting for The Last Guardian, though I've reached a point of indifference for now considering the disappointment of waiting for such periods. Silent Hills being cancelled too really sucks, so not sure what's happening there like whether Kojima will carry the torch with a spiritual successor and/or will Konami pass the project onto another developer.

Probably one of my favorite types of Japanese games though were there survival horror's. Aside from Silent Hill, I'd say Project Siren did an excellent job developing the Siren series, Blood Curse releasing early on PS3 definitely showed they could every bit as well rival a series like Silent Hill, yet they never pursued those games. Nintendo has been greedy and hording the Fatal Frame franchise and then not giving it adequate publishing support, and it appears Koei Tecmo is powerless to release it elsewhere.

I know more Japanese games that do interest me are coming, but it's still a waiting game. and we're pretty far into this gen too and everybody is already rumoring their next console and it feels like I've barely seen squat here.

Japanese developers best days are behind them.

If people in Japan feel alienated by Xbox's catalog, I have to say I feel the same regarding most games from Japan as well.

More games are always great but let's face it, most Xbox owners are not going to buy those games.

And I do have to mention to all those saying Xbox is all shooters. But correct me if I am wrong, But wasn't Sony's Call of Duty bundle count for something like 85% of all the consoles they sold in the last 12 months?
