Do you enjoy any games which are considered very mediocre by Users and Reviews?

I enjoyed below games very much:

Turning Point Fall of Liberty.

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic.

Yakuza Dead Souls.

Hunted: The Demons Forge.

Dead Rising 3.

Do you enjoy any games which are considered very mediocre by Users and Reviews ( Like below 6 User and Review Ratings on GS)? :)

Yeah lots

Hard Reset and Shadow warrior recieve average scores but i enjoy them more than most AAA shooters of today.

Shadow Warrior got 76 on Gamerankings and 73 on Metacritic. While not great these are a bit above average. Same for hard reset.

As for me I would have to say Ryse. I enjoyed the 6-7hrs but I probably would still give it around a 5.5/6 for the repetitiveness. It had some solid ideas and the core mechanics could have made it a very good game but Crytek were far more interested in demoing their tech than anything else.

The GS scored 6/10 but in reality 10/10 MCC. :P

The Game of Thrones RPG, enjoyed it very much when it came out even though I knew absolutely zero about the world when I played it.

Any X1 exclusive that I may enjoy, critically trash but I find enjoyment.

@killered3 Saints Row The Third got like 85-86 which is considered great on Metacritic/Gamerankings...

Edit: Ok honestly I gotta ask why does this site take GS reviews into account so seriously? They suck for the most part. Why not just take aggregate reviews? It pisses me off to no end that we either laugh or praise a game based on one GS reviewers opinion. A game could score a 6 here and a 8.5 on aggregate websites and people would call it a flop just because one goddamn reviewer didn't like it?

Too manny to name, but i had a lot of fun with Yakuza Dead Souls.

If Evolve counts, then that - critically not badly received but I know a lot of people don't like it due to the DLC arrangement and the imbalances (which are a pain sometimes). Never bought any of the DLC tho so can't comment on that.

More than you know. More recently, I beat Sonic Unleashed on the Wii and although all versions weren't received as great, apparently liking this version in particular and not the lower received HD version is a Fandom Heresy, granted not on the level of liking GameCube versions of both Mega Man Collections, but close...

@Juub1990: It's best not to listen reviews entirely. Personally, I only look at what content the games have then compare a great review and a really bad review so I can see the best and worst of that game. But I only do that with a game I'm not sure about buying.

Gamespot: 5/10

I usually agree with the metascores. It's rare to not like a game with scores above 7/10.

User scores, on the other hand, are ridiculous. The internet is full of kids who give 0/10 to every game they don't like and 10/10 to every game they like.

I really enjoy the Doritos Crash Course games.

I had a lot of fun with all of the Mario Party games up until 8.

And probably the worst reviewed game that I enjoy is The Simpsons Wrestling game.

Left 4 Dead didn't get stellar reviews but it is still my fav multiplayer game of all time.

Rainbow Six Siege and Evolve are another two that get a good amount of flack but I have a blast playing.

I enjoyed ryse son of rome a lot despite the casual combat system

Gothic and Risen series.

The Wii version is much better. The daytime stages are the best in the series, better than colors even. The Nighthog stuff isn't good, but it's playable. Worst thing about it is the night battle music, ruining the surprisingly nice stage music.

Assassins's Creed 1 received good enough reviews, but fan reception isn't too good. I loved it though, mind blowing game

It was better than AC2 atleast that was one of the worst and most overrated game of last gen.

I don't listen to reviewers anymore when it comes to games, I formulate my own opinion base on what I see and what I hear. Reviewers on all these websites show bias in some way, shape or form so I don't take what they have to say seriously.

BlackHawk Down for PC back in 2003. I think GS gave it a 5 or something like that but the MP alone was an 8 or 9.

The Delta Force series was incredible for it's time. My favorite Novalogic games were the flight sim series. Starting playing Novalogic Delta Force games with Land Warrior then Black Hawk Down. My favorite though were Delta Force 2 & Joint OPS which was well ahead of its time. 150 player servers on huge maps. Infantry, land sea and air vehicles with battles that could last days. Not many games have managed to achieve that since it released in 2004. It was an amazing game that got unfortunately got neglected after a year into its launch. Shame they are dead. Sucks because they had the corner of the large scale warfare market

Metroid Other M was poorly executed but I did enjoy the boss fights a lot.

I recall enjoying the Conflict Desert Storm games back in the early days of the PS2/Xbox/GC. They most likely haven't aged well.

Also I invested a lot of hours in the first Age of Empires and AOEIII.

No More Heroes 1 and 2 are bad/mediocre games that I still enjoyed to some extent.

And lastly Kung Fu Chaos which was a very fun party game for the Xbox.

Yes. a few of them! Some of Tecmo Deceptions and Yakuza 1 and Dark Soul were my flavored games!

Papa & Yo - it is a bad game, I think it's a bad game to boot, but I respect it a lot more than I respect games that are good in a very uncreative way. The game deals with a subject matter that I easily relate to, and we don't get very personal games like that often.

After that I mean God Hand has a mixed critical reception, but the internet love for it is there. The Evil Within is divisive, but that's about it. Really, can't think of too many examples of me liking an iffy game. Starfox Adventures tends to get hated on, but I feel like I only liked it because I was a young-in, might hate it nowadays. Other M I don't think is a bad game, it's a shitty story with a terrible take on Samus, and good god is linearity of that level design offensive and jarring at times, but the actual action game is rock solid, iffy control decisions aside. Dope bosses though.

I loved Too Human, probably among my top 3 games on the 360 of all time.

Some of them . Prime examples are Two worlds 2 ( user score is a bit low ) , Cryostasis and Aliens vs Predator ( which i thought the marine campaign alone made the game an easy 8 out of 10 )

Yeah it's kind of uninspired, but it's still better than any COD game which all get a free pass, and has more content than any two CODs combined.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Same story, but about even on content with your annual COD in this case. Had a nice 4-player COOP story campaign before it became a big bullet point for a newest next-gen COD.

The only game in my memory where i didn't play a goody 2-shoes in the first playthrough because the dark side was just that tempting.

@Ross_the_Boss6: Was gonna say too human as well. Lair, after the patch had some fun. The Iron Man, Superman returns games were great flight sims. Conan was a fun GoW clone. The last 2 medal of honor games were better than any lately COD or BF of late
