Nope, because by golly if a website reviewer or user from the net thinks a game is bad, then it's bad. Umkay?

More than you know. More recently, I beat Sonic Unleashed on the Wii and although all versions weren't received as great, apparently liking this version in particular and not the lower received HD version is a Fandom Heresy, granted not on the level of liking GameCube versions of both Mega Man Collections, but close...

I find this funny because it's the GC version of the Megaman anniversary collection that got me into the Megaman series (and thus eventually the X, Zero, ZX series as well) in the first place.

It could be for this reason I had no issues adjusting with the GC controls.

A lot of games. Among recent games, " Remember Me" it was a great game but didn't get the rating it deserved. Among older games " Cat Woman" a game I really enjoyed but it was smashed by the critics ( and most of the gamers)

I don't know. I only just started reading game reviews and looking at scores. I'm not interested in looking up the scores of games I played in the past since I already bought and played them, so I suppose I'll never know.

Always. For me, the 'top rated games of all time' lists often just include a load of crap I wouldn't touch with the proverbial barge pole.

Hey, I liked MMAC on GC too and I didn't think the infamous button swap was as game breaking as claimed. Annoying? Maybe if you worshipfully played the originals on NES. But broken? I don't think those "true" Mega Man fans know what a broken port really is. They don't take THAT long to get used to and it's not like controls for ports/sequels NEVER changed before (did you hate the GC Rogue Squadron games or the Zelda ports for that reason, @darkspineslayer?).

Only thing that comes to mind right now is Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze which got a 6 here on GameSpot. But that's a terrific game, it was just GameSpot who told a Donkey Kong hater to review the game.

RE6.

Mechanically it's a very good third person shooter with quite a bit of depth, but the level design is terrible and doesn't suit the gameplay at all. Mercenaries mode was fun as hell because it focused strictly on the core mechanics.

According to charizard, Gamespot apparently disowned that review.
