I only game on PC.
Every so often I'll play a game on my PS3 or Xbox 360,but not nearly enough to warrant the money I spent on the consoles.
A very minuscule amount. I play Team Fortress 2 with my friend and Torchlight when I'm really bored and have nothing to do. Someday I plan on getting a really nice PC and abandoning consoles (except maybe Nintendo's future consoles because I love their first party games)
I'm tempted to build a new rig for gaming. The one I have now is not too bad (Q6600) but the GPU's are badly outdated. Two X1950'S 512MB'S in CF.

Ha you sound exactly in the same situation as me. I'm thinking about going i7 this time around with a 5870 or other DX 11 card.

Or you could just get a 5870, there is nothing wrong with a Q6600, upgrading to an i7 isin't going to make as much of an impact as the cost.
I own all 3 current consoles, but I have been playing only on my PC for the longest time. I built a new rig recently, so everything is even more awesome now.
PC gaming isn't dying. There are only people that want it to die.

I would, but I always upgrade big when I'm doing it, habit I suppose or part of the lure to pc gaming for me. Plus I'm not exactly upgrading this PC (I'll prob give me bro) I'm making a new one :P

I was thinking about just getting a new gpu but unfortunately my PC is like 3/4 years old now, so I'm scared incase the parts start to die out one by one.
So I think it's time for a rebuild. QQ
Only certain Genres.
I mean RTS and TPS like Dawn of War and the Total war series (To a lesser degree Football manager as it's a strategy game of sorts).
As well as RPG's not available on the Ps3 Like Mass Effect (Brilliant), Fallout1/2 and I've tried a few FPS games that get higly rated like Halo 2 (Which is an awful game) and GOW (Meh).
Pretty much PC-only, though I have other systems. I never get tired of modding games or finding different ways how to play Crysis.

yah, i'd say get two 5870's in CF, CPU's dont' add enough to really spend that much on a vid card, i'm rocking a cheap phenom II x4 and i love it. AMD is win this time around since i have a stupid old mother board that supports AM3 and i can upgrade to a 6 core processor, ridiculous.PC gaming is my primary choice. I have a PS3 and play it sometimes, but only for it's exclusives.DragonfireXZ95^This is what's gonna happen to me in a few months.
I used to play on pc almost exclusively but this gen I rarely touch it.
Why did I switch? I prefer to play on the couch, I like being able to pick up a hard copy at the store and I don't like waiting for timed exclusives. If the pc was treated equally by developers like Rockstar I would consider using it more but I won't play the "wait and see" game with pc ports.
I like the pc for adventure games though. I have a backlog of adventure games to play through.
System Wars is lying.

I understand that System Wars is somtimes composed of trolls and very aggressive people, but I can assure you that System Warriors are not liars unless they are attempting to troll. However, I see no trolling attempt here.

It's unusual to see that around here. I've been accused of lying about owning just about every platform, accused of lying about not having an alt, and even accused of lying about my career. It's practically a reflex around here.[QUOTE="CZVA"]

97 votes? I wonder how many of those voters are playing Solitaire and Microsoft Pinball. I only said that as a joke but it isnt far from the truth considering how many people in System Wars are clueless about PCs. All of a sudden, EVERYONE games on the PC. But it wouldnt be fair to dismiss people with older computers capable of playing older games like CS. I just had an image of everyone claiming they play MW2, BC2, Crysis 2 on the PC.

Just PC for me, even though I have a PS2.
Didn't buy a PS3, as it has the same GPU as a PC I had 5 years ago (7800 GTX).
It's an okay GPU; however, you don't want to ever plug one into a Vista or Windows 7 PC. If you did, you would lose DX 10 & 11, Phys-X recognition, Cuda, PureVideo, the whole nine yards. The 7800 GTX only sees DX 9 and older.
I game exclusively on PC this gen.
It propably will change later in this gen, but even then I doubt consoles will take more than 5% of gaming time.
