For a second I thought the question was "Do you like JRPG's?" and everyone saying no was making me confused! XD

But to the point, I really enjoy JRPGs. For some reason, games with great music and story-telling make it really fun to me. When I play turn-based games, I feel like I'm more connected to the characters. *Kingdom Hearts is excellent without being turn based*

Games with excellent stories impact me and gives me warm memories..

Pretty much. I don't exactly hate them, its more of me liking western RPGs better.

well for the gen yes i hate them all the ones that have come out are blah except lo and eternal sonata they were good but not great. But as for the general question no i dont hate them i love them compared to wrpgs. But this gen has been a total let down unless its been on the ds or psp. I will pick up eternal sonata for the ps3 again though as that has been my fav. jrpg for this gen and i love the artstyle very colorful.

No I love JRPG's. I'll admit that the genre hasn't anything great in the last 5 or so years. Although I do find Atlus Shin Megami Tensei (including Persona to be great)

Only one's labeled "Final Fantasy" and "Dragon Quest."

I very much like games such as those in the Shin Megami Tensei series and ones like Odin Sphere and Front Mission.

Never played any JRPGs or many normal RPGs so I can't really comment. They just don't appeal to me, so I guess I do hate them although I've never tried one.

I don't get it, but I found FFXII infinitely better than X, and the best iteration since VII. Am I the only one that thought that?
