Do you have fanboy friends, but you own all there consoles? (not for fanboys)

I do, I own all three, buy my friends are some of the most annoying fanboys ever. They're all Sony fans, I'm serious, these guys would kiss Ken Kutaragi feet if they ever seen him. It's like they can't even comprehend a game if it's not on a Sony console, they act like Sony console. And they always ask me why I need all three consoles.

One of my friends is a huge cow, he never really liked Microsoft systems since most games are shooters and he doesn't like them, and doesn't talk about Nintendo or the PC either. And I own all 3 systems too.

Yeah I do, he's probably the most annoying person I've ever known.

We were talking about Socom: Confrontation and I was talking about how much it sucks, and he replies with "why can't you just be a loyal PlayStation fan?"

He also says NOTHING bad about PlayStation, no matter what it is, he always tries to put a positive spin on it and always puts a negative spin on the 360.

His 360 has RROD'd, he sent it in for free. His PS3 screwed up and something happened, but he had to pay $150 to get it fixed. What did he do? Say "wow man 360 fails"

Oh yeah, he's probably the only real Sony fanboy with a gaming PC. He always tells me "start using your PS3 more, 360 sucks and has no games but Halo" and since I don't have a PC capable of playing Counter Strike, I tell him the 360/PC games. He says "I can get that for my PC and it's so much better"

Only, he doesn't buy them. He owns two PC games, Counter Strike and Crysis. His PC maxes out Crysis with ease, yet he hopes Mass Effect 2 comes to PS3. :|

Hmm...well, I have a Wii, DS, and a PC, and just about everyone has a PC. Most of my friends own a Wii and maybe a PS2, but they agree that both have their ups and downs.

However, PC is a whole different story. They're the biggest Starcraft fanboys there is, and they bash other games-even games that aren't on PC. Note: these fanboys aren't the Wii/PS2friends I hang out with most of the time.

"Doom? Hah, that game's an old piece of crap made by a company no one knows about."
"C&C? There's no Zerg rush so therefore it's crap."
"Crysis? Overrated graphics!"
"Metroid? They copied teh Zergz!"

These are just a few insults and rages they throw out. I facepalmed at these idiotic statements so much....

What's funny is that they never even played any of them-not to mention they are perhaps the biggest elitists in the school.

Yes I have a friend who, along with some of his other friends, just has 360s and ONLY play CoD and RB/GH games. They are so closed minded and will not try ANYTHING else at all.

As a PS3, Xbox 360 and ex-Wii owner. Yes, I do have fanboy friends.

Like:

I have a massive Halo fanboy friend (he got all Halo merchandise and games and hate any FPS that'snot Halo)

Amassive PS3 fanboy friend (he hates Xbox 360 very much)

Abig Xbox 360 fanboy friend (hates the PS3 and always argue with my PS3 fanboy friend)

A PS3 fanboy friend who sounds like a 10 yr old, but he's 15. (he hate everything about the Xbox 360)

Well my 2 co-workers are both lemmings... The one guy hated playstation 3 and all things of it, saying it sucks , has no good games...blah blah blah, (he's 30 btw like myself) like it was early 2007 at launch.. until his borhter-in -law went into the service and let him borrow his ps3 for the last few months... now he hails uncharted and uncharted 2 as the best games of all time...but he still bad mouths it with no reasons..it's almost like a jealously as its' not really his , he has to give it back and he only owns the 360 arcade that his wife got him and has much trouble with the wifi and doesn't have gold. He can't afford another console as he has a kid on the way.... Very annoying dude. And he hates JP. games and thought all Sony games were from Japan..lol... He hates mgs4 because his racist attitute didn't like that a JP team made a game about an American..lol... Then he bashed Demon Souls for not holding his hand showing him an arrow where to go..lol Then there is Jon the real frat-boy co-worker who looks and acts like a 18 year old frat-boy but he is 25... he only plays COD4/MW2 and Halo.. it's all he knows... He knows no other games... When I brought uncharted in they were both like we never heard of that game, it came out of nowhere. Jon bashes the system and he admits to never ever playing on a playstation ever..... How can you bash something you know nothing about???? ARRRGH they make me mad in their ignorance. then the one guy says I am too passionate about video games... most of my friends own a 360. but they want a PS3 now. they got jelous when i show them MGS4 and uncharted LOL. btw im a PCPS360 owner.

I have a couple lemming friends and cow friends.

One of my lemming friends is an extremists. He says everything for the 360 is better than the PS3. He Even said the D-pad on 360 controller is better and he once told me that gears 2 is better graphically than Uncharted 2.

My cow friend has a 360 and used to play a lot of COD on it but he says hes going to sell his 360 because many people act like douchebag and he prefers the more relaxed yet challenging PSN COD community.

I don't own all three consoles, but I am a hardcore Manticore and I have a lot of Lemming friends.

Theres nothing wrong with being a fanboy, being a blind fanboy is something totally different tho. I know a couple of die hard lems but they are the casual "MW2 is teh greatest game ever" kind of fanboys so I dont take them to serious when they bash the wii.

I own all the platforms and a gaming pc, and i have handfuls of friends and family members who have brand loyalties to any of the platforms (some have multiple loyalties although im the only one who has all four), but probably only like five of them can be considered "system wars extremists".

I'm the only one in a group of the 7 people I hang out with who dosen't have a 360, everyday I have fun little arguments about PS3 vs 360 but we allways end up concluding Nintendo > All consoles lol

All of my personal friends are PS3 haters who rag on it everytime they come over, it gets annoying but whatever we just play my Xbox then when they leave I can PS3 all I want. lol

my cousin only owns ps3 hes the biggest ps fanboy since the days of the ps1.

he is convinced in his head that ps3 surpasses the 360 in graphics(a generation ahead because he think the blu ray disk is not for more storage but for graphics) and that the 360 is only capable of playing ps2 like graphics.

so showed him forza 3 since it is the best graphical 360 game and told him what do u think now. i swear to god he told me need for speed undercover on ps3 looks so many time better than this and im a blind not to see that.

I own a PS3 and play 360 and Wii at my cousin's house (who lives 2 minutes away).

My younger cousin is a Halo fanatic, and I like Halo too, but I'm partial to Resistance and Uncharted 2. I've been getting him to play Uncharted 2 and he's getting pretty good at it. Recently he told me that his aiming improved a lot in Halo after playing Uncharted because Uncharted 2 has small reticles. :DHe's a Halo fanboy no doubt, but I'm okay with it since I got him into Uncharted as well. :P

My older cousin is a fan of good games in general. He's willing to play any good game and I'm the same way. :)

I have another friend that is a shooter fanatic in general, and he's obsessed with Halo, Gears, and Call of Duty. He has a PS3, but sadly he ignores it. I try to tell him he's missing out, but he just plays more Call of Duty. :(

I wouldn't call them fanboys, but back when I only owned a 360, well...let's just say that to spite me for being "slow" on my PS3 purchase, they decided to spoil the ending of MGS4 to me...:( DethSkematik
