Agreed, it's going to be very advantageous for gaming next-gen. With faster reading BD drives, and the BD capacity, it will help devs a great deal.

hopefully not much longer, because i'm a fan of DD. Unfortunately we seem to be regressing in terms of internet, with excessive use charges and bandwidth caps, because ISP's will not update the hardware to cope with higher bandwidth uses.

The future?

Yeah, totally. I can't wait when blu ray comes out. I wonder if game devs will, like, fill discs with it.
