this is not really a system wars conversation...its more general gaming, or general discussion, and yes i keep mine in the original stuff.
I agree. Digital stuff also reduces the effects of OCD when it comes to maintaining games and their cases. yeah dd is awesome, so much more convenient than retail games. I've hardly bought a retail pc game in the last year or so with so many awesome deals on steam and it being much better at organizing games.[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]
I keep them in their original cases although I wish that digital distribution would finally gain a much larger presence than it has now. Keeping those disks and all that plastic in a state that one can consider "new" is quite a hassle. They take up space too.

In their original cases. If someone gifts me a used game with a damaged case or less-then-pristine manual, I'll replace (and if I have to, pay for) the case/manual by striking up a deal at my local mom-n-pop shop.
Then I arrange them by console, then alpha by title.
I put all my games in their original cases most of the times, and I usually just lay them all horizontally in a box where I can neatly or cleanly organize them. I never buy games with out their original cases so every single one of them are neatly tuck into a case. But I have to admit I usually trade boxes with games that I cherish more than other for a better condition one.
I am practical with my games. I use them for coasters when guests are over. They make great frisbees too. Then i just lay the discs out on the floor for easy access. Why go through the trouble of opening a case when you can just snag it off the floor, wipe the dust or food particles off with a t-shirt and bam you are playing.

Quite true. It is also more efficient in a world that is being overwhelmed with globalisation.
