Do you regret buying a PS3?

Agreed. This is what I always say when people say I bought X System and now I'm returning it.

Well...in the exclusives department, it lacks. The only game I see as a "must-have" is MGS4. The PSN games are fantastic, and I think they're better than any retail exclusive out there for the PS3(Except PixelJunk Eden...).

Though, I see LBP, KZ2, FFVXIII, GoW3 as "must-haves". I'm also buying some multiplats that I've played on the PS platforms(IE: Prince of Persia, FFXIII, etc.)

The PS3 does it's job...half-ass job, but it gets it done. Though in 2009, it'll surely get the job done! :)

But until then, 360 FTW!

i regret dont having enough $ to get more games, i only have MGS4 and FIFA 08 ( which is from a friend ) but i plan on getting more this upcoming months :P

I love my PS3 and 360. If I had any regrets in purchasing a console/handsheld, they would be for:

Sega 32X

Nintendo Wii

Nintendo DS

But I don't. I love gaming in all it's forms. I don't buy many games for my Wii but I still have fun.

Anyway, I'll still keep it, but I wish I had waited for better games and features. The 360 and Live are just unbeatable.striker131

All my friends are on PSN, so no. Random games on PSN and Live are filled with screeching preteen cheezers. I can't remember the last time I turned on my 360. Nothing against it, I'm just a multiplayer kind of guy and there is nobody I know on Live.

No I had a launch 360 and it red ringed after 7 months got a new one with the warrenty from the store then that red ringed after about 9 months so I sent it to M$ and they sent me another that red ringed not even 6 months later so when I got the 4th I sold it for a PS3. The one I sold to went to a friend and also lasted 6 months and I had to send it in for him since it was under my name.

I was one of the lucky people to not get one.Why you say?

Well i was going to get it for RFOM a while back,but my friend beat me to the punch.

he spent $1000 on it,anyways he got RFOM and Motorstorm,So he calls me over

Im like so how is it...this guy is a sony fanboy for sure,he like lets just play

So we start playing RFOM and first thing we notice is it looks pretty crappy.

So i think we played for about 3 hours we had couple friends over,i must say i was not impressed!

Gameplay was MEH! guns where OKAY! but over all i thought it was pretty crummy game,and all my mates thought the same thing

So we go online for about maybe 30mins.First i notice how crappy PSN is,well it's okay But compared to xbox live it was just not something i was giggly about.Played multi for 30 or so,it was better but 30 mins in we are just like to the point where my friends are turn it off already and try Motorstorm...Cause this blows! one friend says

So we try motorstorm damn that got so boring real fast,it was like half a game!

It look awesome! but everything else was just BAD! online was ok but dry like the game!.

After playing RFOM for about 3 to 4 hours...i think thats more time then it deserved,well it was a shocker!

and motorstorm damn just graphics nothing else!

So you can see why i was so lucky...

Sure there are other games,but most of them look OKAY at best.sure psn is free,but you get what you pay for!

Back on topic I love my ps3, i'm not as big a gamer as I was in the ps2 days so i actually use things like streaming media and high def movies. I have 16 games and that is more than enough at one time...So no I don't regret my purchase at all...

I don't regret it because I bought a 20 gig for $300 bucks last year and sold it for $400 and made profit this year and got the MGS4 bundle.

I don't think PS3 only owners will admit regret in buying a PS3 but I believe they regret over hyping this machine and just wait games and features, actually they probably won't admit that too.

i'm neither of those. I understand i get more for my money. For MY ps3, i get a ps1, ps2, dvd player, divx player, blu-ray player, and other features as well. The only games i like and want on the 360 are Halo3, the Gears of War series, and ninja gaiden2. Live is not a factor for me because money means too much to me, and as much as i like to play online, i will NOT pay to play online! The wii to me is utter garbage, there is absolutely no game that on that thing that would make me drop TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS for the outdated tech with a add-on. Actually there's no game on it that interests me!!
