I play last gen all the time on all console. Still have over 400 games to go from last gen on GC, PS2 and Xbox.. Plenty to keep me busy. I have replayed some games with the kid from Super Nintendo and N64. from Wii store. He loves Mario 64. Also GC games like Lugi Mansion... (waiting for new 2 player LM game on Wii.... (cough Nintendo ya listing))
The Only games I will not play is some of the race games as they get So much better so I will not bother with them... I also do not play US Football, or Basket ball games. Baseball is on Wii.
Nop sold my Xbox one week before 360 was released cuz after trying next gen i go extremely rarely back to ugly graphics (Syferonik
IF this is your only reason for gaming then I feel sorry for you. Go back and play some older games. AND I dont mean older like 2000 till 2005. I mean 1980-1998...Please be a gamer, not a gamer-wannabe you will be amazed at what you missed dude.
I play PS2, PS1, and Saturn games regularly (the latter especially because I've only owned it for little over a year and still haven't completed all of the games I own for it). I will occasionally play on my Dreamcast and Gamecube. I recently aquired Mr. Driller and Skies of Arcadia for the former, so I shoudl pick it up eventually. I never touch my N64, because I only have one game.
I play older games more often than new ones.
I still play my PS2 almost as much as my PS3, and I'll probably be playing that PS2 long after the PS3 for three good reasons...
1. Even though I thoroughly enjoy my PS3, I honestly cannot see the PS3 library reaching the legendary status of that with the PS2 library.
2. I have barely scratched the surface of the PS1/PS2 library.
3. Alot of the PS3 games today unfortunately live on the online play alone, especially FPS like MW2 and Killzone 2, so eventually some games will be truely unplayable anymore, and that is unfortunate.
P.S- I still play my N64 at least once a month. Long live Star Fox 64!!!!!!
I still play my XBOX, PS2 and PS1, though might get rid of the PS1 if I can get all the games I love on there onto the PSP, why don't I play on the PS2, well, there is no difference in what you play it on, and it looks cool sitting there, sitting next to the other previous gen consoles :)
Yep. Look at my sig below Zatch, Brago, and Wonrei to see why.nintendoboy16Zatch Bell: Mamodo Battles? Great game, if so.

I own that game and one of my favorite anime based games of all time and I still do play that, so yes. But below that part of the sig in my now playing tag (I should've been more specific :P) I'm playing Tomb Raider: Legend and One Piece: Grand Battle more right now, because I picked those up about four days ago. What did you play Zatch Bell on?
Backwards Compatible PS3 for the win :) So yes. I also drag out the old N64 sometimes when all my mates are round and we feel like some Goldeneye/MarioKart/PD/DKR.

Yes :P The first few years of gen switching is awesome. A lot of people stop buying previous gen games so they become cheap, a lot of great games usually show up and I try my best to snag as many as I can. I actually picked up Rogue Galaxy a few months ago for about $15.forgot_itNice! I went to walmart a few weeks ago and they had a clearance rack full of ps2/xbox games, and I managed to get Odin Sphere, Rogue Galaxy, Valkyrie Profile 2 and Persona 3 FES for a cool $4.50 each! I was elated and grabbed the best titles I could find. As for playing last gen and prior systems I got a backwards compatible PS3 and the past year I have been diving into about a decades worth of JRPGs that I missed out on the ps1 and ps2. To those who poopoo older generations of games due to graphical concerns, I feel sorry for you! Persona 4 is one of the best RPG's I have ever played (and I have been rpging since ultima 5 on pc in 1991) and it was released on a last gen system! Oh the horror! Higher the res, better the textures = better game! you Heard it here on SW first people!
I play my Dreamcast every now and then. I even dust off the Saturn and N64 maybe once a month, but it's a little hard to play those knowing I'm not going to hear a achievement sound pop up once I complete a level!
