Do You think Bayonetta could top DMC?

Now for me i think it would, in my opinion, DMC4 wasn't all that great[Hopefully they will learn from thier mistakes and improve on DMC5]. DMC 1 & 3 However, were freaking epic. Having said that, seeing this new Bayonetta trailer gave me the chills....i'll leave you all with this video, enjoy.

Bayonetta got my vote ever since that trailer with the crotch close up...

Hideki Kamiya's on the Bayonetta dev. team. Therefore, Bayonetta is the real Devil May Cry 2.

I definitely had fun with DMC4 but it's a solid 7...

So yeah.

It looks pretty good, so i dont see why not. Plus the DMC series is pretty inconsistent and isnt really that fantastic.

I've seen nothing from Bayonetta yet that gives me the impression it will be anything beyond passable. Crotch shots and cleavage will be little compensation if the controls are off, enemies repetitive, and growth is broken.subrosian

Well i have qnuie a bit of faith in the developers behind the game. As long as they dont **** up and make it too short (Madworld), it should be pretty good.

I do not see why not. It's new, has some very exciting and fun looking over the top action. Not to mention, the protagonist is much more appealing than Dante or Nero ever could be.:P Seriously, I just do not think that the DMC series will ever top DMC 3.

Graphics and animation looks so horrible.It looks like a 2004 game.Even DMC3 had better fluid motions than this.

DMC4 killed DMC, so yes.

DMC 1, 3 and 4 were all great. 5 will be great. Bayonetta might have what it takes to surpass DMC, since Hideki Kamiya is trying to make a proper successor, but who knows if it will. It looks way more cheese than DMC, which may effect how it is received but I think it will be fantastic. Something a DMC fan like myself will love to have.

DMC3 isbetter than Onimusha 3 which is suppose to be the best in it's series. You can't even jump in that game from what I can recall play itand the combat is nowhere near as deep or as fluid as in those found in DMC3.

In the case of DMC series vs Bayonetta, I don't thinkit's going to top DMC3 or even DMC1 for that matter.

DMC is a fun series... but not as good as it's made out to be, God of War is better... and I even had more fun with No More Heroes... which isn't nearly as deap combat wise.

DMC4 wasn't a very good game so it wouldn't take much to top it.

I'm not even sure what to make of this. It looks simultaneously awesome and unbelievably stupid at the same time. Might at least rent it.

I love it too, IMO is a little bit better than 1 or at least is in the same level, is not as great as 3, but is indeed a really good game.

I dont think that Bayonetta can top DMC, i mean, Dante is such an awesome and cheese character, is one of those characters that can't be top that easily, and this is comming from a guy who is really interested in Bayonetta.

Why there is so much hate towards DMC4, IMO is a great, fun, action game, maybe a lot of people compare it to DMC3 which is awesome (my second favorite PS2 game in fact) but even so, i think that DMC4 is a really fun game and for a change at least it gave us a different character.
