[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]No, do blame the developers. Bungie themselves were a little humble about the whole thing. People like to blame microsoft but, to be fair, bungie had three years to make the game and after just over two years had absolutely nothing to show for it. They're procrastinated, made things, scrapped things and thought about it for two years and ended up being told they had one more year to finish. A lot of people dont realise this but Halo 2 was made in less than a single year. It was one of the most stressful projects bungie has ever undertaken, and it was their own doing. That's why Halo 3 was much more planned and set-in-stone when they announced it, because they wanted to avoid the horrendous crunches they forced themselves into with Halo 2.Don't blame the developers, blame the publisher who wanted the game out.

Bungie wanted more time. Each of the employees said such; howoever, they were given none such leverage. They were stuck with a deadline in which they could not agree with, and thus when Halo 2 released, it wasn't the game we "thought" it was going to be. (It was better and worse at the same time!)
Yeah, maybe you're right -- that is, about how Halo 3 was definitely more thought out and had "set in stone" deadlines. Perhaps I need to watch over the making of documentaries once more. Damn you Ninja.
