Only if it has high expectations, and it doesn't.

I don't think it's possible for it to flop. Everybody already knows it's going to be crap.

[QUOTE="Filthybastrd"]

[QUOTE="delta3074"]if you think kinect is a step backwards then you are deluded, and just because motion controls do not enhance the experience for your gaming experience doesn't mean it doesn't enhance other peoples gaming experience, the success of the Wii this gen proves that motion controllers have actually expanded the gaming market, people who would never touch a game before are now embracing gaming thanks to motion controls, it's your opinion that kinect is bad for gaming and to be honest i don't like motion controllers but i see beyond my own hate and look at the reality that motion controllers in general ,including kinect, have actually had a positive effect on gaming ,the gaming market abnd the number of people who play games, gaming is for everyone including casuals, you really should quit with the attitude that somehow gaming has to cater to just your personal preferences otherwise it is somehow bad.delta3074

Maybe you're deluded for thinking the opposite. Kinect still has'nt done much, if anything, that makes it more than a webcam and it's current state makes unable to play "core" games. I don't think more Dance Centrals is a positive thing because I don't enjoy dancing much and certainly not at my TV.

Expanding the market is obviously a positive thing but is it to me? Will a hugely succesfull Kinect spawn more games that I enjoy or will it increase focus on the gaming sector I despise in the first place?

And why should I quit that attitude? Why should I embrace that is transforming my hobby into something less enjoyable to me?

As already mentioned I regard Kinect through a pair of "prove it" goggles and it has'nt proved much else than that marketing is effective imho. I'll have something positive to say when it provides me with something to be positive about,

there you go again, me, me,me, what the hell has your own personal tastes got to do with wether something is good for gaming as a whole, seriouly, i proved you wrong the other day when you said that kinect couldn't scan real world objects into games and that there where already games that supported this, it' much more than just a web cam, can you turn your console on or OFF with a web cam? can a web cam scan your biometrics? does a webcam recognise arm movements and translate them to instructions for a game? can a web cam scan real world objects into the games you play? NO on all counts, you should learn to understand what kinect can actually do before making baseless assumptions about what it can and cannot do, wether you like it or nor Kinect is definitly an evolution as far as gaming is concerned, it's something new and a new way of playing games, sounds evolutionary to me

Dude, he doesnt own kinect, nor has he played around with it, he is basing his entire opinion on what he reads on system wars and thus has no understanding or concept of what future benefits a device like kinect can have to augment the overall gaming experience. I think we need to let this one lie...

[QUOTE="Ninja_Odin"][QUOTE="TheEroica"][QUOTE="Danm_999"] Granted, but it's not a very common opinion that Fable 1 was a masterpiece.

My opinion is that the first fable was a bore, second was better and the third was the best... I like stories not the freedom to fart in faces. Fable 3 is the best one IMO

I like games, and Fable 3 was a terible one.

seems to be a common opinion... one i do not share. I rather enjoyed caring about characters for the first time in a fable game.

i laugh at all the people who still believe this isn't on the rails. Your on a horse for the majority of the game and when you get off your horse its only when the game makes you go where it wants you to go and becomes on the rails as you fight monsters. This seems like it would be a DLC title for kinect, i think its a scam that their going to be probably charging full price for this when all your doing is pretending to ride a horse.

I've bought every Fable game that has been released so far and I thought they were fun games. But I won't be buying this one. I know I don't speak for the majority but I can't see this one doing very well. I could be wrong though.

A game has to have hype to be a flop.
