The online multiplayer highly encourages camping (with map designs that encourage this, and guns that kill with 2-3 bullets with no recoil). And the worst part is that the community always complains about everything. They can't ever admit that the other team beat the fairly, when really 90 percent of the time, they were playing normally. I remember having a 1 on 1 in Rust with one of my "Friends", and I beat him. He claimed I was camping the whole time when I was running and gunning the whole time. Examples NOOBTUBE NOOB! STOPPING POWER NOOB! PAINKILER NOOB! CAMPING NOOB! (the irony, the game was MADE for this) HARD SCOPING NOOB etcetcetc

Singleplayer - Short but exciting, not as good as MW. AA.
Multiplayer - Largely broken, pales in comparsion with BC2, or even the original MW, too many probelm to list but can still be kinda fun. A.
Overall - 7.5/10 ....that's still a good game, but considering it's success and the wealth of better FPS available it attracts a lot of (semi-deserved) hate. Plus Activision are the publisher. Anyone who keeps up with gaming news hates them with good reason.

How about you go try getting plugged with 5 bullets to the chest and see if you can tell your friends about it the next day. Odds are, you will die after relatively quickly. If you don't want to die so fast, play Halo 3. As far as recoil, it is noticable in all guns that need it. For example, some assault rifles (like the M4) have very little recoil in real life, so why would they make it jump all over the screen in the game? Also, don't just spray everywhere, shoot in bursts to control it. As for encouraging camping, not at all, it's the players choice. You obviously can't bring a game's community into reasons as to why a game is bad. In an online community, it's difficult to control how people will behave. The only things I dislike are noobtubes. I don't believe any grenade launchers should be aloud in Hardcore game varients, which is what I play.

In fact people who say the game has no recoil either barely played the game,or did not play it at all,the AK 47 is brutal in fact you have to fire in burts instead of just fully auto,it will block your view with the recoil,and you will trow bullets every were,the same with any light machine guns,the recoil is brutal,hell without grip they suck hard.
I Loled when someone said BC2 is better because it has destructable environments. Hmm i guess that means BF is the best multiplayer game ever as i dont know any other game with destructable environments.

Absolutely, in fact MW and WaW were overrated as well. COD lacks quality online servers, or at least better matchmaking, so the games are constantly laggy.

i dont think its that overrated...just like any multiplayer game, things ppl hate get exploited..(noob tubers, camping...etc.) I will say that i think some of the killstreaks are too much at times..that is all, I do enjoy the game

I'd score it a lot lower than what critics did if that that's what you're asking. I just hate the unbalanced multiplayer portion. Spec ops is neat. Campaign was okay.
