The best move Nintendo should make is to provide support to Third Party developers and entice them to put established franchises on the Wii. Square Enix has already announced Dragon Quest X for the Wii, so Nintendo should be working hard to get the lsame level of support from them that the DS sees. Nintendo needs to take a more active role and offer the Wii as a viable platform for Final Fantasy remakes, Kingdom Hearts III, and other Square Enix franchises.
Snake's appearance in Brawl should be taken advantage of by getting Kojima on the phone and seeing if he wants to do a Twin Snakes style remake of the two MSX Metal Gear titles on the Wii.
Let Sega take another crack at F-Zero and even let Namco have another shot at Star Fox(provided they keep it closer to Star Fox 64)
What the Wii needs now are established first and third-party franchises that can assist in attracting hardcore gamers. The Wii needs to be postioned as the console version of the DS. A cheap platform that requires fewer risks than development on the 360 and PS3.
It has the user base to support a transition towards more hardcore offerings. What Nintendo needs to do is offer third-party developers incentives to move away from party and mini games.
