crysis levels arent very big and it's not open world like people claim it is, you gotta load up each level. halo combat evolved was more open world because you didnt have to load up each level lol just kept playing game loaded on the fly while ur playing next area. only loaded once.dfdftretretret
I'd correct you on the difference between level loading and streaming in regard to an open environment, but level 1s with random names aren't worth having a in depth discussion with.

crysis is no more open world than halo combat evolved i own both games lol.people dont seem to get idtech 5 engine can do every single texture on a level different from another. crysis it's same textures repeated, same mud/rock/ textures, if they put idtech5 engine to good use in rage it will pwn crysis.dfdftretretretWhat framerate is Crysis running at?
Rage runs at 60 FPS and Doom 4 will run at 30 FPS.

crysis is no more open world than halo combat evolved i own both games lol.Crysis gives you freedom of choice. Halo gives you none. Very different, despite both having linear progression. Crysis offers larger, sandbox enviroments as levels. Halo doesnt. What framerate is Crysis running at?[QUOTE="dfdftretretret"]people dont seem to get idtech 5 engine can do every single texture on a level different from another. crysis it's same textures repeated, same mud/rock/ textures, if they put idtech5 engine to good use in rage it will pwn crysis.Nintendo_Ownes7

Crysis runs at whatever framerate your computer can muster... But I'm the exception my PC is the exact same as when I got it in I think 2003 or 2004.Oh I'm still getting the Console versions but that is because my PC can't handle it the game work run slower on my PC then it would playing on a Console. Well that's just your opinion/preference, but what was being asked was the suggestion that Crysis was frame rate locked :? Which is quite a strange comment because PC games run at any frame rate your hardware supports.
