Right now, who knows? We haven't seen Agent yet. Hopefully they show it at E3.Or are you confident that Agent willTop it?

Agent is like MGS:Raising, annouced early just to have something... now we gonna see them in first time for realz
ps3 is getting a good exclusive.
After read dead i think we can be assured agent will score atleast a 9.5
Game you know is ~95 pretty much everywhere vs. Game you have no idea what it will be. Yeah anybody would take the ~95's and run with it in this industry. Regardless its a pointless question. As in, whats done is done. I had No hope in Agent after GTAIV, RDR has restored that hope, though, so we shall see. navstar29its not a pointless question if you think about it. Just like in sports in regards to the NBA/NFL draft, there was question like, who u trade this person for John Wall.
Don't like The Agent as a title, so lol its an insta flop to me and yes i believe RDR is waaay more important. RDR gonna sell rly well me think and could be a huge exclusive.silversix_You remember GTA last gen and how they sold as exclusives? Because I do!

We know nothing about agent so how do we know? Can I borrow your time machine? But in Biodog's defense, we do know Rockstar's track record.ps3 is getting a good exclusive.

But that does not mean a game we will know nothing about will assuredly key word assuredly score ATLEAST a 9.5. I didnt know rockstar was making it, although I never liked a single gta game.[QUOTE="silversix_"]Don't like The Agent as a title, so lol its an insta flop to me and yes i believe RDR is waaay more important. I'm sure they'd rather have GTA5 over either of those.Zoso-8Which probably comes out in 2012??? No.
I dont know if agent is a 3rd person action adventure or a hardcore stealth game and at this point and we have no screens either so no one knowsOr are you confident that Agent willTop it?

We're talking about the gaming industry, you're telling me, Sony would rather take a chance on something unknown, than take a chance on something that is the 3rd highest ranked game on its console, made by the devs of GTA, with the full marketing force of R* ... yeah okay. And its also pointless, since it doesn't matter at the end of the day. Sony's getting Agent, whether they would have liked RDR or not. Sony, MS or Ninty would all love to have a game with this much of a critical reception to call exclusive.

We really haven't seen a lotabout Agent. RDR is looking like a killer title, so it would've been huge to lock thatone up, but we'll have to wait and see how Agent turns out.I also thought it was pitiful how Microsoft paid all that $$ tokeep GTA from being a Sony exclusive. I could understand paying a huge amount to make it a 360 exclusive, but to pay all that and stillhave it appear on both platforms??! I know it would have really helped move PS3 consoles and hurt the 360 sales if they didnt, but it just seemslike Rockstar made out like a fat rat with that deal.
Id laugh hard if agent became multiplat after a few months, or even if MS bought it as a timed exclusive first out from under their nose. Wont, but id laugh!

I doubt Agent will stay exclusive, and since we've heard virtually nothing about the game I'd say it would be hard to make a decision now.
The Agent might turn out to be a great game, but for now we know nothing so we must wait till some details/gameplay vids emerge :)
As regards your tc's question, considering RDR is also available on PS3, Sony probably see The Agent as a 'bonus' :)
How about we wait until E3 because right now we have nothing but a nice looking logo to go by for Agent. Parasomniac
We know this much: The game is set during the Cold War and will take players into "the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations".
If Sony knew that RDR would become one of the top-rated games of all time, they probably would have asked, yeah.
Whats to worry about? Rockstar's studios are top notch, arguably the best in the biz right now. Im sure Agent will be of the same pedigree as their previous titles. Personally, although we know jack about Agent, Im excited to see what Rockstar can do with the spy/stealth genre.
Good question. If I were Sony, I would definitely want RDR over Agent. MS and Sony probably had a little fight to secure exclusive rights to RDR that we dont know about. It seems an old Western shooter would appeal to more people than an Cold War espionage game. But this decision is based off of the very little info we know about Agent.
Im doubting Rockstars ability to pull this one off. I hope they do at least one of two things. Rewrite history by adding a lot of action in the Cold War. Or change their shoot em' up style to something more Heavy Rain + Splinter Cell. I just cant see Rockstar doing an espionage game when all their games are based on reckless gunfire.
I think..when Rockstar says "exclusive" it means exclusive.agff9
LOL. And all GTA games and DLC then went multiplat. You pulled that one right out of your ass.
This is like asking a GM in sports if they'd rather have a rookie who has amazing potential but has yet to play a game or a player who has actually proven their ability.
Agent trailer and gameplay needs to be shown at E3 or they might as well cancel the game for all I care.
