PC has most games, the most high scoring exclusives, both casual and hardcore appeal, most genres, best graphics as well as the biggest money makers. So if PC is dead ..what does that make the consoles?mr_mozilla

There are still loads of great games on PC but I think giving PC games good graphics is a waste. How many people are going to experience better graphics than consoles? Not many really. You need to super rich or a highly experience computer builder. Its just not practical. PC gaming can stay alive if they don't make the games with such good graphics.

I'd really love Dawn of War 2 when it comes but I bought it will work on my PC, so if it doesn't I'm no going to get it. The better the graphics get the less people can enjoy the games.

and no PC gameing is not dead. Stop saying this. PC userbase is large and don't base all your judgements on a game like crysis which the developers made many mistakes with that game leading it to bad sales.

PC gaming will never die, BUT, its far from the best choice for me. I have grown up on consoles, and will never leave console gaming.

Gaming on consoles is just easier , smoother, and all around a better experience.

No disrepect to all you console people as I play consoles myself, just find it funny.

pc gaming is the **** and console gaming isnt.

I perfer PC gaming, theres just tons more you can do. And the graphics are beyond what consoles are putting out, also we have mods which keep our games as fresh as when they first came out. And i love upgrading my system(when i have some cash) you can get a new Video card or CPU and watch your new rig perform beautifully.

There are also FAR more PC exclusives then Consoles exclusives. Now i am not some PC fanboy, i own all three systems(PS3/360/Wii) but i just enjoy my PC more. Plus PC games have a better online community IMO, and i love how some of our games have 64 players, it just adds to the fun.

Also, PC gaming isnt dead just because it doesn't have all of its games printed on Doritos bags:P(Halo). When you get into PC, consoles seem like a childrens toy. PC gaming is far from dead, with Wii have no games(i am going to sell it soon) 360 only has GOW2 and crappy Fable 2(IMO) and PS3 probably has the most coming, Killzone 2, LBP, God of War 3, Resistance 2 and a couple more. But there are tons of more PC gaming coming out then those systems combine.

PC can be far more innovative since its not tied down by and big company like Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. Which means is more user friendly and you can make mods for it easily instead of having to go thorught company permission.

nope. its doing fine. its continues to eb the place where publishers and devs experiment. it continues to be the place where most devs (especially in the west) make a name for themselves. it remains a very open platform (which means is can never technically die as a gaming platform). finally it continues to get crackin games, both multiplat and exclusives.

the only problem the PC as a platform has (from a public image standpoint) is that no one is letting anyone know its happening. it has no voice. MS are a pathetic spokes person for PC gaming (nintendo does a better job and does more good for the platform as does sony....who actually make some PC games.) and the PCGA are sadly doing squat (why no stand at leipzig guys? why no PC conference at e3?).

If you're a true PC gamer why would you bash the 360 for it's games (or lack there of..) but praise the PS3's selection of SHOOTERS that you could get in far superior form on the PC.. Stalker, Crysis, FarCry 2 ect... :|

Just because i like PC more doesnt mean i have to hate consoles, thats not a true PC gamer.

I praise the PS3 selection more because it just has most of the games in the console realm. But i never said that the PS3 shooters were superior to the PC's shooters. PS3 cant stack up to Stalker Clear sky, Deus Ex 3, Half Life 2 EP3, Far Cry 2(the PC version), Left for Dead, Doom 4, Quake Live and more.
