Great post
You really don't need to say anything more about that game. It was just awful.

Windwaker looks like crap. If you like watching Nickelodeon, you'll like Windwaker, I guess, but if you want Link to actually look more like a real person and for character design and environments to look more detailed and believable, you'll agree that Twilight Princess is a far better game. Oh, and in Windwaker, you're basically on autobilot while your stupid talking boat navigates the empty ocean for you while the crappy music plays. The bug fetch quests are actually fun, and they are NOTHING compared to the triforce piece fetch quest after beating the first dungeons in Windwaker. That stupid, idiotic fetch quest takes you well over an hour to do, and that's about the time I stop my replay of Windwaker and play a more fun game, like Big Rigs or something. Basically with Windwaker you have a game that is overrated and looked to as "TEH BEST ZELDA EVURS" because Zelda fans have this idiotic tendency to hate the last game and exult the one before it. The truth is that Windwaker is the black sheep in the Zelda series, and there's a really good reason why the cartoony Windwaker world is only done on the handhelds now.princeofshapeir
I don't see how making Link look a bit cartoonish drastically changes the game..It was still a Zelda game, and a great one. It had a strong story and it was a very fun game to play through...One of the best Zelda games in my books, and I've played almost all of them, including the handheld games.

The visuals ruined it for me. It emasculated Link. It made him look like less of a hero. And the character design was just terrible.[QUOTE="taj7575"][QUOTE="princeofshapeir"]Windwaker looks like crap. It was basically following another Link from another time..But to stop the same evil.
Personally, I loved the animations. They were very creative and well made. It was a very artistic LOZ, and I loved that.

The animations in the game are painfully limited. You'll realize that some characters have only one facial animation throughout the entire game.[QUOTE="taj7575"][QUOTE="princeofshapeir"] The visuals ruined it for me. It emasculated Link. You'll realize that some characters have only one facial animation throughout the entire game.I've realized that a long time ago, but that still doesn't stop me from enjoying the artistic view of it. It could've been better, no doubt about that, but I still don't mind it.

It barely affected me and I enjoyed the game for what it is.
I think that MM isn't exactly the worst in the Zelda series, it's probably just as good as Ocarina Of Time. Some of the things that I truly hate about it is the annoying 3 day time limit which further reduces exploring fields, etc. (since when do Zelda games have time limits within games, besides in side quest games, etc.), & the fact that there are far less dungeons than OoT (OoT had about what, 10-11 of them?).
I say the worst Zelda game, by far, happens to be Zelda II. Nintendo tries to make it more different by turning it into some sort of RPG, & it fails. Not only that, but it has to be the most extremely difficult Zelda game that I've ever played. Why fix something that's not broken?
