As far as I know Everquest with an 8.4 but it wasn't an unified GOTY.

With an unified GOTY I think it's 9.0 with Demon's Souls.

After it scored 7.5 do you think it'll be nominees?

But Kevin is a huge Souls fanboy and now he even is editor in chief. I remember some other GS staff members complaining that a few "SOB'"s were monopolizing the decisions on that years awards. Now he has more powa!!!!111!!!!

Expect the unexpected Uncharted 2 and Mario Galaxy 2 were the highest rated in their respected years but they lost to lower ranked games but I am leaning Skyrim to get it.
