2 More Flops for Xbox,i think they should cancel the triology thing :|Ace132
sorry but no, this game is selling well enough for a sequel and the game has recieved fairly odd scores yes but there are far worse games out there. go to the too human board and you will see that lots of people are enjoying it.
they should scrap it i mean the first game was flopzorzzz! but i bet all lemmings will come and say nooo teh sequelz will be teh better etc etc.
well i say to you. if killzone 1 flopped (better score than too human) then whats stopping the sequel being better?
think about that before you bash killzone 2 next time and try say too human 2 will be better than the first.

Go to the board of any horrible game just after it comes out and there'll be people saying they love it even though they don't. The Lair boards were like this, Too Human boards, the Wii Alone in the Dark (just the first one that came into my head because it was exactly like what I said) boards were all full of people defending their purchase, I guarantee in 2 or 3 weeks everyone in there will just be saying how much of a missed opportuinity it was.
Here's a question...will anyone buy it? I don't think very many bought Too Human and those who did (like me) are so sickened by their purchase that they will not buy any more Too Human titles (my thoughts at least).Big_Boss465
You say that now, yet my money is on the sequels being leagues better, in just about every aspect (camera, control, gameplay) and you will be one of the first people to buy it.

I purchased it and I'm not sickened by it at all. :|

I like the game and I don't have to lie about it. It's flawed, but not terrible.Any game that makes me want to play for hours without a break the first time through and make me consider replaying it after I finish is worth my 60 bucks. The only thing that REALLY annoys me about Too Human is the camera.
No game that was planned as a trilogy has ever done well. So continues the curse. They will never make any sequels to Too Human.
Best to just shut up..and then once the first succeeds get to work on the whole trilogy idea like gears and halo.

Oh yeah, we are all just desperate people who are secretly upset we purchased trash, we can't honestly enjoy a game that scored poorly!

Why would you consider them desperate?Definitely, and I am excited to see where they can take it. The game is flawed, no question. However, underneath the sub-par graphics, lack of level and enemy variety, and the fidgety camera lies some great concepts, as well as a game that provides some good old school feeling fun.
The fully customizable RPG elements, as well as insane amounts of loot is where this game shines. A good example and comparison being last gen's Champions of Norrath. Just a very satisfyingly addictive, hunting/gathering dungeon crawler that unfortunately had a few flaws that held it back from being truly great.
In fact, it almost makes me cringe just thinking about how great this game could have been. So, in seeing all of these shades of an almost, but not quite great game littered throughout is more than enough to make a sequel mandatory. As a foundation for what can become a great trilogy was indeed laid with this game.
In my opinion, Silicon Knights just needs to improve their engine, or get a new one. Map the camera to the right analog stick, and melee to the face buttons, add more levels that are shorter, and vary greatly in artistic design, and add more enemy variety. Those are the only improvements that I think need to be made to this flawed gem. The potential is there, therefore, a sequel is a necessity, so that what this game should be can be fully realized. It would be a shame not to in this games case, if you ask me.
Microsoft has already stated they are comited to the trillogy.Jynxzor
a trilogy of failure it shall be then.

Why not complete the trilogy?musicalmac
Is that a serious question?
The easy answer is can their money be spent on something that will bring them more revenue. All scores aside, if the game doesn't make MS enough money they are not going to make a trilogy. That's like asking New Line to make a trilogy of the Golden Compass......it flopped in the US big time so why should they feel they need to complete the trilogy if it's not giong to make them money?

Honestly I would like you to explain this thought process please. What does the name of the game have anything to with whether or not they should invest in the trilogy? I'll ask you, why should they finish the trilogy.....because it's called Too Human? Is that all you got?

Why, because some systemwars people said it was a great game? Or are you believing the "my local Wal-Mart is out so it must be a million seller"? I'm not saying it's impossible for it to sell a million in ONE week but everytime I ask why people post that it's sold over a million it's always "I saw a guy post about 1 million preorders" or "my local store is all out....that means it's out nation wide!!!".
It's like the damage control on the game is the sales that no one can prove or disprove.
