[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"] Never said I didn't have a preference. I thought the definition of manticore was having all systems.(I don't have a vita , however.)Badosh

No, it means having no preferences on systems.

At least, that's what I thought it was by older definitions. It might have changed, but basically. You support all systems, have no preferences when it comes to game,s etc etc. Owning all of them means nothing, really.

Well, I used to consider myself a manticore because I liked all three consoles and PC , but since I have a preference (Nintendo + PC), what am I? Its a hell of a lot expensive to NOT have a preference. All those labels are supposed to be fanboy titles and I certainly am not a fanboy.

I am a Manticore. I own and play all systems.

Here's how it works.

The Xbox 360 has the best racing sim, third person shooting franchise and first person shooter exclusives.

The PS3 has the best action adventure, hack n slash and stealth espionage exclusives.

The Wii has the best platforming and JRPG exclusives (for home console).

The 3DS has the best platforming and racing games on handheld, unique touch controls and overall the best handheld games.

The Vita has the best handheld graphics and hardware, the best multiplats and action/adventure exclusives.

The PC has the best graphics, multiplats, controller options, peripheral options, mods, MMO / RTS exclusives.

You don't have to own them all to be a Manticore, but I've noticed that sometimes people have a hard time complimenting something they don't have, usually trying to provide reasons as to why they don't have the platform which usually consists of insulting the platform.
