does it bug you that people like me prefer to game on consoles then our pc's?..jeez get over it

He never talked about consoles bothering him, He was asking if anyone seriously thought that a console could oust a PC. Which, Depending on the rig, Yes and No. It's called a preference for a reason.
PCs have more potential, though people still game on PCs that consoles perform better than for some games, I don't mind being somewhere in the middle, not having to fuss with updating specs or troubleshooting but content with adequate performance at the sacrifice of not having the best version out there but it still looks good regardless.

Which gives it mystique
PS2 had "The Emotion Engine" with untapped potential power, capable of guiding Suddam Hussein's skud missiles.
It gave a false notion of rivaling the Xbox for power.
PS3 uses "The Cell"- I'm not sure what angle Sony are using this generation- maybe the "It only does everything" one. Therefore no PS4 is required.
unless your building a pc meant for gaming then yes but most pc's for other uses don't have the same graphical power as my ps3 or 360 in real life..Chris_Williams
Only if they have an integrated graphics chip. PS3 = 7800 GTX, Xbox = HD 2000 series.Those aren't being sold anymore for PCs. No one would install them into today's PCs, because you would lose too much. If I dropped a 7800 GTX into my PC, I would lose DX 10 & 11, CUDA, PureVideo, and Phys-X. The 7800 cannot see any of those.
Consoles are optimised for getting more out of gaming then your typical office desktop.
I believe they can have more graphical power then those kind of PCs, but not the type of machines PC gaming enthusiasts possess.
I have 2 PCs (GT 540M GPU) not really spec up for gaming and one fairly high-end 2008 laptop(GTS 8800) and they still have more graphical power then any of the consoles- looking to get a 12 core Mac Pro.
Those machines are ever evolving and if there is still a market out there for these kind of monsters, they're is not much use debating them.
Depends on what PC you're talking about. My PC makes console games look like over a gen behind, but the consoles look much better than the cheap 5 years old computer of my parents xD

Yes and I am still waiting for that hidden potential from PS3 software. I have rented the majority of my console games this gen because I just don't see replayablity. To each their own.
I would like to see next gen consolesget atleast720 resolution as a standard.
i beleive if you get a pc with the hardware of ps3 or 360 and play the same game. it will look much better on ps3 and 360 than pc. but in the real world, everyone has better hardware than ps3 and 360 thus making games on pc look better...
