Does anyone else hate X Play?

It used to a pretty good show when it was called extended play and just had adam sessler, they were just focused on the games and nothing else. Then after Morgan Webb came in and it became Xplay it became terrible. They try to hard with their bad jokes, their scores are widely inflated, or their just plain rude to certain games due to their genre. Now the show's only purpose now is to appeal to the bro gamer.

I don't hate the show but I do dislike it. Adam Sessler is ok though.

Feedback and adam's soap box is great, show with ms boobs a lot isn't

Reviews on the Run is the most awful show I have ever seen, however I only saw it when tommy tallrico was there, it might have grown better since.

I like the show as it covers allot of gaming news, and I agree with their reviews 90% of the time.

Some of their segments can get annoying, but they are short.

I really love how they cover the major game events (especially E3)

This sucks... I just check to see what was on G4, and it turns out Direct TV no longer carries the G4 channel. I didnt really watch it, but WTH :evil: Use to like the channel a lot more back in the day, when we had both TechTV and G4 TV.... back then they actually had good shows.

Morgan is just as bad, with her stupid assumption of gamers, if you watch the whole video you will understand. At least Tyra has no clue about videogames at all, Morgan has been working in the industry for how long? proving the only reason she is still employed there is due to the size of her:idea::idea:

It has its moments, otherwise its kinda boring. It's not their fault though, there really is a lul in new games right now.

The feedback is much better and goes in more detail with each game. There is also usually 5 people on it too so you hear various opinions on each game and game news.

Something else from X-Play that I did agree with here, their closing remarks for Killzone 3

Provided you're not a stickler for narrative continuity, everything about Killzone 3's presentation rocks. If an abrupt and unexplained change in story direction is likely to strike a nerve, no amount of stylish cinematics and memorable scenes will take your mind off some of the game's glaring plot holes. Seriously, two main characters receive horrible knife wounds that go completely unaddressed after the fact – nobody thought to acknowledge this?

Oddities like this don't take anything away from Killzone 3 as a whole. Killzone 2 tested the waters of what the console was technically capable of. It planted the seed for what the franchise aspired to be, and it paved the way for Killzone 3 to become one of the PlayStation 3's most valuable exclusives.

Spot on

I used to watch it a lot for Adam Sessler. Hes cool because you can tell he really loves gaming and its a passion for him. Everyone else it just feels fake, like Morgan Webb for instance I always get this "Hey im a girl and i can kick your butt in Call of Duty YEAH HARDCORE" like shes special because she likes games, I hate people like that.

I hate the show now. I too used to find Morgan Webb attractive, but after I found out about her COMPLETE stupidity, I find her (and the rest of G4 for that matter) as dumb as Chris Bores, aka "Irate Gamer".
