Does anyone else think this may happen with Halo 3

As I walked into my local 711 today I put my slurpee in what I thought was a very hard but normal looking cup. As I looked down I noticed it was a halo 3 cup. Interesting then as I was at the counter I can preorder halo3.... okay weird. Then I heard (and I was later confirmed on an ad on gamespot) that walmart will have lines just for halo3. Now i recently caved in and bought a xbox just to increase my gaming (while waiting for ps3 and wii games to come out) I cant help but worry about all this hype. Doesnt anyone else think they might hype this up to the point where you would expect to much and the game wont fulfill all of your wildest master chief fantasies?

I have a 360, PC(4), PS2, GC, Xbox and Halo 3 couldn't be any more unappealing right now.

Probably. So much media behind it, it could just fracture if product was not up to the weight measurement.

it was the same case with halo2..people brought the game..some people loved it..some people hated it. halo3 will be no different

i think halo3 combined with the wii will draw non gamers in by the hundreds of thousands. i mean combined with loads of videogame commercials and now seeing them on your sodas cups.......you might just feel the need to check it out you know?

only sony hype games and dont deliver, beleive me this game will deliver and leave a crushing blow to sonykiko1
