They are either dead on or completely off, for purchasing purposes I usually just look at gamerankings. However I will say that GS has done some really contraversial(atleast on this forum) reviews that I ended up agreeing with, namely Twilight Princess and PDZ.
I like gamespot for the reviews and active forums I like IGN for news I like 1up for interviews (they got a lot) I like EGM because i can use their false info they always put in to make people on these forums mad

I think only lemmings would say that at this point. Sheep and Cows are put off by the reviews imo. That's only because none of the Wiis or PS3s big guns have come out yet, I don't care if a system doesn't have 5 AAAs in the first 3 months, they can't all be the Dreamcast.:P

1UP sucks at reviews too, but their Journalism is better I agree. I personally like their reviews; to each his own, I guess.

Sheep and Cows are put off by the reviews imo. hey lemmings have reviews to disagree with too! crackdown but imo gamespot is the best site for reviews ign overrate everything pretty much every decent game there is like 9 or above, so youre basically comparing like low 9s and high 9s all the other sites arnt very proffesional like their reviews are either too high or too low i also prefer the gamespot interface
I come here for the reviews, as I still think they're in general the best. Though I do think at the beginning of each generation, there's always some slightly off reviews due to the transition to the newer generation and its expectations.

1UP sucks at reviews too, but their Journalism is better I agree. 1up does a good job somewhat with their reviews- they suck with the score mostly
