Does anyone in system wars play games for fun?

It feels like the only reason people here buy games is because it looks amazing or it got a 9 or a 10. Games that get 8.5 are considered garbage to you guys? Does anyone have fun anymore?

I play all games for fun no matterwhat system they are for score isnt really a factor for if I anticipated the game andit's funi will enjoy itvery much.

nah i love so many games that get low scores and hate so many that get 9 and above that to me the reviews are a joke.

I tend to buy higher rated games (8.5 +) cause usually they are just plain better, BUT that is not always the case. Some of my favorite games scored relatively low. Baten Kaitos Origins anyone?

The reasoning behind it getting a low score I would most definitely take in account because that most probably will effect my ability to have fun with the game.

It's the only reason I play. If the game scores low, I try to figure out why. And if I don't agree with their reasons or they don't affect me because of different preferences, then I'll go ahead and get it. But if their reasons sound like things I also don't like, then I'll probably skip it because there's always a deluge of other worthwhile titles.

Yes, thats why I bought a Kinect, Dance Central and thats been more fun than many of this gens games.

I only buy a game if it gets a 9.0 or higher. I don't have fun with any of my games though. I usually just play them for a few hours and then tell my friends how my games are superior to theirs. It makes me feel big and tough.

What we got now are graphic programs created to try and simulate photo realistic stuff as time goes on, to be more "immersed" in killing people, killing things in general, destroying stuff, etc. So They can alter the mentality of this current generation of humans into a sheep-like population of slaves.

This is just a small part of their hidden agenda. Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Activision, Crytek, Valve, Bioware, Square, and most other companies all are in it, and they work for Them to further the agenda and mold our mentality, selling out long ago for money and a place in this New World after the agenda is complete and the new generation looses their souls and minds completely, becoming blind fanboys and sheep people. The moderators here at Gamespot already know this, but they are not spreading the news to the masses. For they too will get a spot in this New World if they follow the agenda, yeah, that's right. Gamespot is also in it, as is IGN.

And you know what the sad part is? I'm not joking, i'm dead serious, and i urge you to listen to my warning. Need proof?

thats sad because sometimes i have more fun with games that score 7s and 8s over 9s and 9.5s

I expect more than fun from my games....

I play games that interest me. Game like 50 Cent: Blood on the sand was fun from my view, but from critic's it was a 7/10 at best. Not saying a score doesn't come into my decision to buy a game, but I go by what looks fun or vaguely interesting to me.racing1750

Anyway, I buy pretty much everything that interessts me and only keep playing them if I'm having fun. So yeah, pretty much only for fun
