Does anyone remember E3 2005 when WarHawk was shown everyone went nuts?

a) It's an entirely Sony based site that nobody's even heard about until now.

b) RR7=9.7

dude Warhawk has a better chance at getting A than AAA. NextGenIreland is for casual gamers from what I see with the scores it hands out. Kinda like Play.

i love how cows deny how much this game was hyped in E3 2005. How this game was even going to be possible on xbox 1.5. Well obviously the tide has turned and PS3 has yet to deliver AAA exclusive going on 1 year now and we can just hope in 2008 with the amount of flops PS3 has had.Reyes360

Yeah, it was still off from it. Even then I thought it was slightly overrated, but still deserved AAA. Just reading the first three points Mega made was enough. They're a joke.

It could be the fact that it's a basic webpage nobody's even heard about dedicated to Sony products and hails Resistance as the greatest shooter ever made and thinks RR7 deserves 9.7. But then again, it could be one big mystery :|

Eh...

The game uses the same engine, was shown in gameplay with lots of --junk-- on screen at once but since the single player was scrapped and the game is now multiplayer only those segments won't be playable.

Actually when killzone 2 was reveiled back in 2005 this is how it went.

- Killzone 2 was reveiled.Cows:Holy sh!t this game is crazy. The Halo killer!

-Later it turned out the the video was fake. Cows: Just wait and see it, when gameplay is reveiled it will match the E3 2005 trailer

-After 2 years of waiting gameplay is finally shown. Cows: I knew it will match or come close to the E3 trailer.

Through out the whole 2 year waiting game it turn out the cows were right and all haters were owned. But still, haters still hate killzone 2. now the lems and sheep are whinning about the gameplay is going to be crap and hermits are saying Crysis has better graphics!. And cows are saying that the game will get even bettter looking because the gameplay that was shown was in pre-pre alpha.

Personally i cant wait for Killzone 2 because either way you look at it someone is going to be owned.

In defense of that first Warhawk game, I was blown away when I saw it, and there was nothing comperable on the Saturn at the time. It was truly groundbreaking and I thoroughly enjoyed that game...

Nope, they did it with Warhawk too. To some extent they still are. In one of their promotion videos they show the same fake clip of a massive swarm of enemies when they brag about you "being able to have massive fights".
